A Woman’s Life: Flowers of Sweatkawanaka miyuki

A heartwarming life-affirming song that sings of gratitude to a devoted mother and the deep love from her daughter.
Lyricist Osamu Yoshioka portrays a mother who toiled through daily life, overcoming any hardship with a smile.
That scene overlaps with Miyuki Kawanaka’s loving, compassionate voice, deeply resonating in the hearts of listeners.
The single was released in May 2003 to coincide with the Mother’s Day season.
It was later included on best-of albums such as the classic “Miyuki Kawanaka Daizenshū” and continues to be beloved by many.
Doesn’t it make you feel the beauty of those who live earnestly and give you strength to face tomorrow? Let it be an opportunity to express the gratitude you can’t usually put into words to someone important to you.
Let life shinekomadori・Toshiko & Midori

This is a hymn to life performed by the duo of Toshiko Osanai—the younger of the Komadori Sisters who brightened the Showa-era pop scene—and Midori Ishioka.
It’s a remake by Toshiko Osanai herself of the Komadori Sisters’ classic released in 1981, revisited more than 40 years later.
The lyrics, which portray someone carrying their late father’s words in their heart and striving to live strongly through sorrow, are deeply moving.
If you listen to it when you’re at a crossroads and feel close to breaking, it may give you a warm sense of courage.
Making MemoriesFuji Ayako

Prompted by her producer’s suggestion to “sing your own song,” this is a track for which Ayako Fuji herself handled both lyrics and composition.
It was released in July 2025 as part of the double A-side single “Omoide-zukuri / Chiisana Kane no Ne ~La Campanella~.” Like flipping through the pages of a diary, the song traces memories, singing of bonds with family and friends as well as love for a partner.
With a melody that evokes the nostalgia of Showa-era kayōkyoku and folk music, and lyrics that chart the journey of a life, it’s the kind of song that will bring a loved one’s face to mind and surely make your heart swell.

There’s even choreography designed so people of all ages can dance in a circle—truly a festival song.
This track is sure to lift your spirits and bring a smile to your face.
