[Karaoke] A Big Roundup of Songs That Are Easy for Women to Sing! (181–190)
Dong, Nan, Xi, BeiToki Asako

Asako Toki is a female singer-songwriter and the daughter of renowned saxophonist Eiji Toki.
Influenced by her father, she excels at blending jazz into J-pop, crafting complex and sophisticated songs rarely found in mainstream Japanese music.
Among her tracks, a standout recommendation is “Dong, Nan, Xi, Bei.” It’s an unconventional piece that mixes jazz and techno, yet the vocal range is narrow with no drastic pitch shifts.
The rhythm is a bit challenging, so be sure to listen carefully and get familiar with the song before singing.
Star‑mineHatsuboshi Gakuen

A school-themed Idolmaster popular among teens and people in their twenties.
Many of my students play this game, and lots of them chose its songs for lessons.
This time, Star-mine isn’t a solo track—it’s a unit song! Overall, the key sits comfortably for female voices, but the highest note is a high G# (G#5), which appears at the end of the chorus.
Hitting a high G# after sustained singing can be tricky, so aim to produce it in full head voice, sending a focused, thin tone straight upward as if from above your head, and make sure to project your breath firmly.
If it’s hard to do within the song, practice just that note first.
Since it’s an idol song, it could be fun to gather fans of Gakumas and split the parts! Enjoy singing it!
EclipseAimer

Aimer’s “Eclipse” has lots of breathy elements and isn’t a song where you belt, so I think it’s relatively easy to sing! Like the other artists I’ve introduced so far, Aimer is also an artist whose low register is really captivating.
Compared to her signature song “Zankyosanka,” this one has fewer high notes, making the pitch easier to catch, and the song’s structure builds up gradually rather than suddenly jumping high.
The rhythm doesn’t have any particularly difficult parts either, so if you want to sing something gently and tenderly, how about “Eclipse”? Try singing softly without straining your throat!
Moving point PSuiyōbi no Campanella

Wednesday Campanella’s track “Moving Point P.” In recent years, as lead vocalist Utaha’s singing ability has improved, many Wednesday Campanella songs have become a bit challenging for aiming for high karaoke scores.
But this one is different.
True to Wednesday Campanella’s style, it’s built around a house-inspired melody, and the vocal line is arranged so that its pitch movement rises and falls gently, avoiding interference with the track.
The rhythm is simple and easy to grasp, so definitely consider adding it to your repertoire.
As a personSuperfly

Superfly has many songs with a high vocal range, but since this one is a cover of a SUPER BEAVER track, many people may find it easier to sing than the usual Superfly songs.
As you listen through the song, the arrangement builds steadily from the A verse into the chorus.
The final chorus modulates and goes even higher, but if you sing with momentum, it becomes easier to project your voice and hit the pitches, so I recommend singing while riding the rhythm!
Love is checkmated.AKB48

AKB48 is a group that has energized the idol scene for many years.
They still often appear at the top of the charts and continue to release great songs.
Their new track, “Koi Tsumjatta,” is one of those releases.
Recently, in line with the K-pop boom, even classic idol groups tend to sing songs with more complex styles, but this one stands out for its catchy and simple sound reminiscent of early AKB.
The vocal range isn’t very wide either, so give it a try!
No Makeup Star feat. UtaJenīhai

Jenny High is a band formed by an unusual lineup: two band members, two comedians, and one contemporary musician.
While they often give off a comedic impression, their musicality is surprisingly sophisticated, with each member’s strengths blending beautifully.
Their new song, No-Make Star feat.
Uta, features Uta from Wednesday Campanella, and the entire track is wrapped in a jazzy, decadent atmosphere.
Although the groove can be a bit tricky, the vocal range is narrow and there aren’t any particularly difficult vocal parts, so as long as you can keep solid time, it should be a relatively easy song to sing.
