[Karaoke] A Roundup of Easy-to-Sing Songs for Women! (211–220)
Make You HappyNiziU

A joint Japan–Korea idol group NiziU released this song in Japan and Korea in June 2020, followed by a worldwide release in July of the same year.
Although it’s an idol group track, their vocals are quite impressive, and it might be a bit challenging to replicate in karaoke.
That said, the song itself is very bright and, true to its title, it makes you feel happy whether you’re listening or singing.
So don’t overthink it—just sing and have fun! The vocal range used in the melody isn’t very wide either, so even if you’re not great with high notes, you should be fine if you adjust the key.
Boys & GirlsHamasaki Ayumi

Her million-selling hit and a classic favorite for karaoke.
The notes are high right from the start, so it’s a song that people who are good at high-register pieces will probably love.
Once you catch the tempo, it’s quite easy to sing.
However, the lyrics are packed into each measure, so do your best to articulate clearly.
That’s a hallmark of her songs.
Song of SpringFujihara Sakura

Sakura Fujiwara is a female singer-songwriter who has gained popularity with a country-inspired sound.
Active since the 2010s, she has produced several hit numbers.
Among her songs, the one especially recommended for women with lower voices is Haru no Uta (Spring Song).
It’s frequently used on platforms like TikTok and YouTube Shorts, so many people may find it familiar.
The chorus has a calm feel, and the A-melody through the B-melody sits mostly in the low to low-mid range, making it relatively easy for women to sing.

Not bad.Sekitori Hana

Hana Sekitori is a female singer-songwriter who has gained popularity for her emotionally piercing musicality.
Her voice has a rounded warmth, and you can always feel the emotion in her slightly lower-range vocals.
Among her songs, a standout recommendation is Warukunai (“Not Bad”).
It has a style reminiscent of Miyuki Nakajima, and from the verses through the chorus, it features richly resonant lower–mid register phrases in every section.
The vocal line is very simple, so it’s also an easy song to sing.
to go see (someone) / to go meetaimyon

Aimyon is a female singer-songwriter whose music distinctively incorporates the essence of 1970s folk.
While she has many catchy songs, her latest track “Ai ni Iku no ni” is one I especially recommend for being easy to sing.
Its subtly folk-tinged elements within an orthodox Japanese J-pop framework are highly catchy, and the vocal lines are crafted to be very simple, in keeping with that style.
There are almost no sections requiring falsetto, so even those who can’t hit high notes can sing it with confidence.
swayingaimyon

It’s a masterpiece that fully showcases Aimyon’s exceptional songwriting, which straddles the line between folk and J-pop.
“Yura Yura” holds the position of the B-side to the 2020 smash hit “Hadaka no Kokoro,” but it’s also performed at concerts, and footage has been released on her official YouTube channel—definitely worth checking out.
Structurally, the song features a very simple chord progression with an easy-to-understand melody that’s quite singable.
There aren’t any particularly difficult parts, but if you focus on giving it a bouncy rhythm when you sing, it will sound even better, so be sure to try that.
figure; appearance; form; shape; 姿 (sugata) can mean a person’s figure/appearance, the shape/form of something, or a visible state / 姿を見せる = to show oneselfaimyon

A masterpiece whose refined and calm musicality evokes the night, “Sugata.” In terms of genre, it’s an orthodox J-pop piece, and the vocal line is crafted simply to suit the Japanese vocal range.
While the melody is generally steady with few dramatic shifts, a slightly higher falsetto appears in the chorus, so take care there.
Singing higher is fine, but if the key is set too low, producing the falsetto becomes unnecessarily difficult.
Be sure to determine the appropriate key and sing accordingly.
