The reason I laughASCA

A single by ASCA, released in November 2023.
It was selected as the opening theme for the TV anime “Butareba: The Story of a Man Turned into a Pig.” It’s an upbeat, very energetic track, and since the vocal melody doesn’t span a very wide range, both tempo-wise and melody-wise it’s an easy pick for karaoke that anyone can sing without strain.
Because it’s such a catchy, groove-heavy song, the performance can fall apart if your vocal rhythm gets sloppy, so be sure to feel the rhythm of the backing track and sing in time!
I miss youAdo

Ado’s sixth single overall, released exclusively for streaming.
It came out on August 21, 2021.
The song was used as an insert track in the film Kaguya-sama: Love Is War – Final, which premiered on August 20, 2021.
With Ado’s wonderfully unadorned vocal tone, I think even people who don’t usually sing much will find it easy to hum along.
That said, there are quite a few spots where she shows off some pretty high notes, so if you’re not confident with high tones, be careful with the key setting at karaoke.
It would be ideal to learn to switch between high chest voice and high falsetto, as she does, depending on the expression needed in each part of the song.
In that sense, this might be one of the best songs to practice with.
Odoru Pompoko RinE-girls

Released in August 2014, this is E-girls’ cover of the song that BB Queens originally released in 1990 as their debut single and as the theme song for the anime Chibi Maruko-chan—a track that became a huge hit alongside the anime’s popularity.
Aside from the rhythm track and synth arrangement being tailored toward dance music, the cover stays largely faithful to the original.
In the original, some parts were sung by Fusunokke Kondo with seasoned high tones, but in this version, all vocals are performed by E-girls members.
In that sense, it may be considerably easier for women to sing compared to the original.
It’s not a song designed to showcase technical vocal prowess, so enjoy singing it together with friends and have fun!
May it be filled with kindnessJUJU

This song is a quintessential JUJU-style ballad.
It starts off gently, builds through the middle, and is crafted to lead into the finale—everything you’d expect from a true ballad.
Although JUJU sings with a high tone, you can actually perform it without going that high.
Even in the chorus, the melody doesn’t rise much—that’s the key.
As long as you add clear dynamics, it’s not difficult to sing.
The real highlight is the C melody; how you interpret the key change is the crucial point to singing this song well.
No, no.LiSA

A track included on LiSA’s third mini-album, “LADYBUG,” released on May 19, 2021.
Incidentally, this mini-album was produced to commemorate the 10th anniversary of LiSA’s debut.
It’s a very upbeat, lively, and bright pop song, and the vocal melody is very poppy with almost no difficult parts, so even those who aren’t confident singers should be able to hum along with ease.
Rather than worrying about the details, focus on the vibe and sing it lightly!
Eaten loveaiko

This is aiko’s 41st single overall, released on September 29, 2021.
When you listen to aiko herself sing, she never tries to show off vocal prowess, but she skillfully weaves in mixed voice and falsetto, so trying to do a complete copy might be a bit challenging.
That said, the melody itself is easy to hum along to, so if the high-tone parts feel tough, adjust the karaoke key to suit your range and it should become very singable.
If you avoid straining and keep your delivery light overall, it will likely sound even better!
Record (feat. Taka Perry)yama

Singer-songwriter yama, whose stylish musicality has made her popular among women in their teens and twenties, has recently been leaning into Black music, producing sophisticated tracks in genres like R&B.
Among her R&B-tinged works, the one I especially recommend is Record (feat.
Taka Perry).
While it has an R&B flavor, it barely features advanced techniques like melismas or falls.
The vocal range is about average, and although the pitch movement is a bit on the dynamic side, it’s exceptionally easy to sing for an R&B-style track.
