How about some simple table magic? It’s easy to buy the props and hard to mess up, and these days there are plenty of videos that teach simple tricks along with their secrets.

Why not try using familiar items like coins or tissues? Once you master them, it becomes a skill you can use anytime!

Atarimae Taiso

Atarimae Taiso

The comedy duo COWCOW’s sketch “Atarimae Taisō” (The Obvious Exercise).

The male vocalist’s perfectly nuanced voice singing over a piano, the lyrics that feel both surreal and totally relatable, the quirky dance—when these come together, it’s so funny! If you customize the lyrics with people or events close to you, it’s sure to hype things up.

Get the crowd going with some relatable, ‘we’ve all been there’ jokes!

Dance ‘Idol’

Dance 'Idol'

YOASOBI’s song “Idol” was written as the theme for the anime Oshi no Ko and became a huge hit, especially on streaming platforms.

How about trying a dance to this highly popular track? A key point is that there’s no fixed choreography, so you can enjoy it with your own free moves.

Since the song’s major theme is the image of a perfect idol who captivates people while hiding the truth, choreography that channels an idol vibe is recommended.

While keeping the song’s brisk pace in mind, give your all to expressing maximum cuteness.

How about trying a classic idol dance song? If you perform with a few people instead of solo, coordinating costumes will make it even more exciting.

It’s also great to choose songs that are well-known across generations, like AKB48’s “Koisuru Fortune Cookie” or the “Koi” dance to Gen Hoshino’s “Koi.”

Recreating a scene from a movie

Recreating a scene from a movie

Playing a video as entertainment is a classic choice, but it’s important to pick content that will resonate with as many people as possible.

A video that recreates a scene from a well-known movie can be easier to follow and has a built-in sense of story.

Consider creating something that fits the atmosphere of the event, whether it’s a moving scene or a laugh-out-loud moment.

You can either go all-in on accuracy—with attention to costumes and acting—or intentionally keep it simple for comedic effect.

Committing to one of these directions is recommended.

Para Para dance

Para Para dance

The ‘Para Para dance’ that became a craze in the 1980s is actually still enjoyed today as a party performance.

You do need a sense of rhythm, but unlike acrobatic dances, it doesn’t involve intense movements, and since most of it uses the upper body, it’s easy to learn.

It’s a great entertainment option for older women, too.

For those in their 50s and up, many probably danced it back in the day, so it’s sure to be a hit at gatherings with that generation.

It’s more exciting when performed by a group than solo.

It’s also fun to give each person a moment to shine!

Pikachu & Stitch voice impressions

[Stitch] An impression of that famous scene (?)

One fun party trick I recommend for women is voice impressions—imitating the voices of famous people or characters.

You can choose anyone you think you can mimic, but if the person or character is too obscure, people might not recognize it even if your impression is high quality.

Also, impressions of real people are surprisingly hard.

So I recommend Pikachu and Stitch! For Pikachu, try placing the sound in your nose and go low → high → medium in pitch.

For Stitch, keep your mouth slightly closed and aim for a low voice—that seems to be the trick!
