Lively Entertainment and Performances Recommended for Women (41–50)
manzai (a traditional Japanese stand-up comedy duo performance)

When it comes to entertainment that instantly brightens the mood of a cherry-blossom viewing party, manzai comedy is the go-to.
A duo sets a theme in advance and delivers lighthearted jokes and punchlines about spring and cherry blossoms.
It’s recommended to weave in seasonal material and relatable “everyday” bits from the office or school.
Keeping a snappy back-and-forth naturally draws the crowd in.
The key is to wrap things up with a final punchline that brings the story together and hits a peak of laughter.
With brisk banter, unique facial expressions, and more, it’s a great idea for delivering all kinds of laughs.

Dance ‘Idol’

YOASOBI’s song “Idol” was written as the theme for the anime Oshi no Ko and became a major hit, especially on streaming platforms.
How about trying a dance to this well-known track? Since there’s no fixed choreography, you can enjoy it freely.
The song’s major theme is the image of a perfect idol who hides the truth while captivating others, so while maintaining the song’s sense of speed, give your all to expressing “kawaii.”
Butterfly’s Dance

One of the traditional magic tricks, “Ukare Kochō” (The Frolicsome Butterfly), has been adapted for impromptu performance as “Dance of the Butterfly.” Its hallmark is a paper butterfly that flutters and seemingly plays in the air as you fan it.
For the climax, butterflies appear to gush forth from the performer’s hands—one of the highlights of the trick! Because it showcases elegant, traditional Japanese movements and a dreamlike atmosphere, it’s perfect for women to perform as well.
That said, mastering this act is extremely difficult, so if you’re thinking of presenting it as entertainment at a year-end or New Year’s party, we recommend using magic props.
A Female Illusionist Tries 100-Yen Store Magic: ‘Levitation Magic’ Edition | Ameka TV Vol. 4

When it comes to classic party entertainment, magic is one of the go-tos, but don’t you get the impression that most magicians are men? It also seems like most magic demo videos feature men.
However, in this video, a woman introduces magic props from a 100-yen shop.
Take a look for tips on how to present magic routines.
If you’re not confident with dancing or singing, I recommend checking out magic props instead.
Evangelion stand-up comedy duo

This is a routine by the duo Sakura—famous for the cute female comedians Saki Inagaki and Noriko Masuda—introducing Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Since 2009, after Masuda graduated, Saki Inagaki has been performing solo.
Neon Genesis Evangelion has been beloved for many years, and when the feature film was released in 2021, the story came to a close and generated a lot of buzz.
Saki Inagaki’s cosplay of Asuka Langley Soryu is also adorable and stands out on entertainment stages, so it’s highly recommended.
glass harp

A glass harp involves preparing many glasses filled with water and rubbing their rims to produce sound.
Its appeal lies in the clear, transparent tone.
You change the pitch by adjusting the amount of water in each glass.
It’s a bit challenging to do alone, so gather a group.
Try choosing songs that everyone is likely to recognize.
devil stick

The charm of the devil stick lies in how the stick seems almost alive, moving in various ways in midair.
It apparently takes a little time to get the feel in your hands and master the basic tricks.
But that’s exactly why many people get hooked.
If you have practice time and the drive to say, “I definitely want to learn devil sticks!”, give it a try.
