Exciting Party Acts and Performances Recommended for Women (51–60)

Ballet

Ballet is recommended for those who are confident in their flexibility or have experience.

Its graceful movements will add elegance to the venue.

You can choose classic, time-honored pieces, or it might be interesting to incorporate more recent music.

singing with self-accompaniment

If you can play the guitar, how about putting that skill to use with an acoustic guitar-and-vocal performance? Of course, it’s also fine for two people to split the parts into guitar and vocals! For a song that many guests are likely to have heard and that features touching lyrics about someone special, how about aiko’s “Kabutomushi”? Entertainment doesn’t have to be all lively and boisterous—it can be beautifully mellow and heartfelt, too.

ball balancing (circus act of balancing while standing on a large ball)

A female street performer who can also showcase ball-balancing acrobatics.
ball balancing (circus act of balancing while standing on a large ball)

Ball walking, a classic of street performance and circus acts.

Recommended for those confident in their sense of balance.

It takes quite a bit of practice to ride well, but when you pull it off, it always brings the crowd to life.

If you’re feeling up to it, try challenging yourself with a trick like juggling while ball walking.

CUPSAnna Kendrick

Anna Kendrick – Cups (Pitch Perfect’s “When I’m Gone”) (Director’s Cut)
CUPSAnna Kendrick

In the movie Pitch Perfect, the lead actress Anna Kendrick performs this during an audition.

It’s called “Cups,” where you sing while keeping the rhythm with a plastic cup and hand claps.

If you’re confident in your sense of rhythm and singing, give it a try—you’ll really impress people.

In fact, it’s said that Anna actually performed this at her real audition for the film.

Spring of LifePerfume

How about copying Perfume, the dance-vocal group active worldwide? They have so many popular songs that it’s hard to choose.

“Chocolate Disco” and “Polyrhythm” are good picks.

It’d be great to prepare costumes that look as close to theirs as possible, too.

Let It Go

Let It Go

Why not try your hand at “Let It Go,” the famous theme song from the blockbuster Disney film Frozen? Like in the videos, put some thought into costumes and props.

Performing it live is a great option, too.

It’s a crowd-pleaser regardless of age or gender—especially if children are present, you’re sure to be a star!

If you don’t have much time to prepare a performance, an “aiueo acrostic” is recommended.

In this video it’s done in a rap style, but I think it’s also fine to prepare the lines on paper in advance and present them that way.

If you want to keep preparation time short and wrap it up quickly so the audience doesn’t get bored, give it a try.

The key is to create the aiueo acrostic using prompts that match the theme of the event where you’ll be performing.
