Hold Youpicco

If you want to listen to poppy, sparkly EDM, this one’s a must! It’s a track by Vocaloid producer picco, with the music video released in January 2024.
The song was included on the album “Senkou Bad Girl,” released in August 2023.
The irresistibly comfy groove will have your body keeping time before you know it.
The lyrics are also striking for their message: a strong resolve to “take hold of what you want with your own hands.” It’s the perfect song to give you courage when you’re starting something new!
What a wide world it is!WAKUTO

I want to break free from my boring everyday life and race around the world! This is a great escape song by a headstrong princess, packed with the spirit of adventure everyone has dreamed of at least once.
Composed by WAKUTO, it was released in November 2025.
It tells the story of a heroine who’s fed up with reading and lessons, whose longing for the world she saw in picture books grows and grows, until she finally slips out of the castle and claims her freedom.
The sound brims with pure excitement and thrills, and the lyrics revel in newfound freedom, making your heart dance.
It’s a song I want you to hear if you’ve been feeling that everyday life just isn’t enough.
Happy Sourkoki

Please give it a listen when you’re worn out from work or studying—it’s sure to lift your spirits.
This song by Vocaloid producer Koki was released in 2021.
The gentle band sound, with softly resonating acoustic guitar, feels so comfortable, and the tones of the marimba and tambourine are delightful.
The overall soundscape lets you relax with a sigh.
Rather than trying to pep you up, the lyrics feel like they quietly sit by your side, which is soothing.
It’s a laid-back, cute Vocaloid track that sparks just a little bit of hope for tomorrow.
Abdus Simawotaku

If you want to immerse yourself in a dark, aggressive world, definitely check this out! It’s a provocative track with a vertical-groove feel, driven by bass house-style low-end and topped with the sharp delivery of Synthesizer V 2 AI Frimomen.
The song is by wotaku and was released in October 2025.
Set in nighttime back alleys and an old shopping district, it portrays a protagonist staking their claim to their territory, evoking that irresistible outlaw vibe reminiscent of past works like “Gehenna” and “Mafia.” The rap-like flow and hard-hitting beat are a perfect match, making for a work with serious impact!
Eye Maker!Makishiukyou

Released by KARENT to celebrate MEIKO’s 21st anniversary, this work is a song that honors the origins of Vocaloid history.
It’s a single entirely created by Makishiukyo—from lyrics and composition to video and illustration—released in October 2025.
The title carries layered meanings: “a person who makes love,” “a person who makes oneself,” and “all creators.” It expresses a universality that only the first-generation VOCALOID without an assigned age can sing, set to a pop, comical sound.
The music video features adorable, festive direction that conveys the joy of creation just by watching.
It’s a perfect piece for those who want to connect with the roots of Vocaloid culture or draw energy for making things.
VOC@LOID in LoveOSTER project

This is one of the songs that helped popularize the name “Hatsune Miku.” It’s a work by OSTER project, a Vocaloid producer who’s also active in the mainstream scene, released in 2007.
As the title suggests, the lyrics convey feelings from Hatsune Miku’s perspective.
In the very early days of the Vocaloid scene, many songs focused on expressing a Vocaloid’s thoughts, and among them, “Koisuru VOC@LOID” drew particular attention.
If you’re a woman looking to get into Vocaloid music, this could be a great place to start.
Stevenson screenhako
Ranked second in the Rookie division of VocaColle Summer 2023 was “Hyakuyou-bako.” This track was newly written by Haco for the album, and its lyrics portray shifting weather.
The chill sound, sampling the noise of water droplets, and Hatsune Miku’s whispery vocals are addictive.
Listen on repeat and savor its charm.
The lyrical world is also unique and wonderful, so be sure to check out what it conveys.
