Integral Laboratoryirucaice

irucaice – Integral Laboratory feat. Hatsune Miku + Kagamine Rin + KAITO
Integral Laboratoryirucaice

Integral Laboratory, produced in 2023 by Vocaloid producer Iruka Ice, known for crafting numerous tracks brimming with a pop-inspired worldview.

It portrays a person who keeps conducting experiments in a laboratory unknown to anyone, singing of how becoming engrossed simultaneously expands their world.

The colorful, fast-paced sound—set to an electronica-based dance beat—evokes lively, enjoyable scenes.

Centered on Hatsune Miku, with rich choral work by Kagamine Rin and KAITO, it’s a cute Vocaloid song.

After-schoolwotaku

After School / wotaku feat. Hatsune Miku
After-schoolwotaku

This song captivates with its dark worldview, depicting the mysterious relationship between a witch and a human.

Released by wotaku in February 2025, it was created based on Kitori Shioya’s novel Mea-senpai Is a Witch!.

The wavering emotions of two people living in different worlds are expressed through the call-and-response between Hatsune Miku and Tohoku Zunko.

The tense, gothic-style sound arrangement is truly mesmerizing.

Be sure to enjoy it alongside Mea-senpai Is a Witch! as well.

Zunda shrimp frynamiguru

Zunda Shrimp Fry / Namiguru feat. Zundamon & Kotonoha Akane
Zunda shrimp frynamiguru

Zunda, made from edamame or broad beans, teams up in an unlikely collaboration with fried shrimp in Namiguru’s “Zunda Ebi Fry.” Its highly addictive melody and vocal delivery create a gently soothing, heartwarming atmosphere that really stands out.

And the more you listen, the more you can’t help but wonder what zunda paired with fried shrimp would actually taste like.

The lyrics also include touches like cherishing the shrimp tail and spotlighting zunda, so while the song remains a bit of a mystery, it also subtly conveys an appreciation for food.

the underworldAtari

[Nanakusa Hime] Yomi [Atari]
the underworldAtari

Please give this cutting-edge, Japanese-style Vocaloid track a listen! “Yomi,” a song by Vocaloid producer Atari, was released in October 2022.

It’s a bold fusion of EDM with traditional Japanese instruments, and it’s incredibly stylish.

There’s so much to enjoy—like the surging bassline, the glittering koto, and the flute swaying in the distance.

The rhythm hits hard, making you want to crank the volume way up.

The downbeat lyrics, which contrast with the energetic sound, are another big draw.

Big newsKitsuneri

It’s a rock tune that makes you want to sway your shoulders and gets you energized.

Created by the music duo Kitsuneri, made up of Gumiyama and N-Roach, it was released in 2023.

Its energetic sound and catchy melody line are irresistible.

Just following the sound is enough to sweep away the haze that had been clouding your heart.

The lyrics carry a wonderfully gentle message, as if speaking directly to you: “Tell me what happened to you.” Highly recommended when you want to switch your mood.

How impertinent for a mere human.Kinoshita

You're so cheeky for a human / Kinoshita feat. Hatsune Miku / You and I are different, but I long for you.
How impertinent for a mere human.Kinoshita

This is a catchy, bright song where you can meet a cute Hatsune Miku.

The track “Ningen no Kuse ni Namaikida” by Vocaloid producer Kinoshita was released in 2019.

Its non-stop, racing sound arrangement instantly clears your mind when you listen.

And the lyrics, which project Miku’s inner feelings, are probably its most distinctive feature.

You can’t help imagining, “Maybe she really might be thinking this way.” Highly recommended when you need a boost of energy!

Bzzzt bzzzt bzzzt bzzztfurokuro

Beep beep beep beep / Star World (Be, be, be, be! / SEKAI)
Bzzzt bzzzt bzzzt bzzztfurokuro

It’s a work that achieves both catchiness and artistic flair, and I’m in awe of its creativity.

The track is by Frokuro, known for releasing highly experimental music, and it was released in March 2023.

It’s a popular piece that ranked 7th in the VOCACOLLE Spring 2023 TOP 100.

I can’t help but say you should listen to it together with the music video first.

It moves forward on a drum’n’bass rhythm, but it weaves in detailed developments and breaks, so new sounds are constantly jumping into your ears.

Combined with glitchy visuals reminiscent of an analog TV, it creates a feeling like you’re in another world, even though it’s reality.
