Aomori Public University is a public university located in Aza Goshizawa, Aomori City, Aomori Prefecture. It was established in 1993 by the Aomori Regional Wide-Area Administrative Association of Aomori City and Higashitsugaru District. The bronze statue of Adam Mickiewicz in front of the main gate is the university’s trademark. The university festival is held on the first Saturday and Sunday of October.
