The Iwate Medical University Festival is a cultural festival held in early October. Its diverse food stalls and events are popular every year, attracting many local visitors.
The university festival held at Iwate Prefectural University’s Takizawa Campus features a wide variety of fun activities, including new stage programs by artists and student clubs, events in the auditorium, and numerous food and craft stalls. A flea market will also take place in the gymnasium. Alongside the festival, an open campus will be held, with research showcases and more in each faculty building. It’s a community-oriented festival open to everyone—students, local residents, and people of all ages can enjoy it.
Kozukata Festival is a school festival held at Iwate University in Morioka City. It puts a lot of effort into events like guest live performances and a pre-festival program. Although some people associate “Kozukata” with the idea of “not coming,” the students aim to create an event that makes visitors think, “I want to come again!!”
