This is a school festival held every year from late October to early November. “Anokusai” is said to be a dialect word from the Kurume area meaning something like “hey, hey” or “you know,” which gives it a friendly vibe! Nagasaki Institute of Applied Science is a private university located in Amaba-machi, Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture, established in 1965. Its abbreviation is “Sokadai.” The Seaside Campus High School building is a renovated former Nagasaki Aquarium and has received Nagasaki City’s Urban Landscape Award. The school festival, called the Zōdaisai, is held over two days from November 23 to 24.
