Kyushu International University of Nursing, part of the Japanese Red Cross in Munakata City, holds a school festival every autumn called the Haruheki Festival. It seems to feature events like a Miss Contest, dance performances, and food stalls, creating a lively atmosphere. At the same time, an event called the Asty Festival is also held, where visitors can receive health checkups and consultations from university faculty.

Geidai Festival | Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts (Shuri Tônokura Campus)Nov 2 (Sun) – 3 (Mon), Okinawa Prefecture
Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts, located in Shuri Tôzachō 1-chome, Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture, is a public university established in 1986. The university is abbreviated as Okigei or Kengei, and consists of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Crafts and the Faculty of Music. The school festival, called Geidaisai, is held every year in November over two or three days.

Shikuma Festival | Kumamoto University (Kurokami North Campus)Nov 2 (Sun) – 4 (Tue), Kumamoto Prefecture
The Shigumasai festival is held for three days every year in early November at Kumamoto University’s Kurokami North Campus to coincide with the university’s anniversary. Although the festival’s executive committee once dwindled in number and disbanded, it has since been revived, and the event now attracts 34,000 visitors, making it the largest university festival in Kyushu in terms of attendance.

Kyuhosai | Kyushu University of Medical ScienceNov 2 (Sun)–3 (Mon), Miyazaki Prefecture
Kyushu University of Health and Medical Sciences is a private university headquartered in Yoshino-cho, Nobeoka City, Miyazaki Prefecture, established in 1999. Its school festival is called the Kuho Festival and is held over two days on November 3 and 4. The educational philosophy is: “To draw out and develop each student’s abilities to the fullest and cultivate individuals who will contribute meaningfully to society.”
