Originating from the Yamanashi Prefectural Temporary Teacher Training Institute established in 1953, this school is dedicated to fostering global talent, advancing research in the humanities, and pursuing the study of humanity. The school festival, Katsuragawa Festival, held around Culture Day in November, features stage events, research showcases, and sports tournaments.
