Battles between MCs with completely different styles are really fun, aren’t they? The one I want to highlight is the battle between Nidra Assassin and Bontou at the 2022 Gaisen MC Battle.
Nidra Assassin came in with a high-energy, rapid-fire flow, while Bontou brought a calm presence and a heavy, weighty flow.
They’re total opposites, right? Check it out and see how the clash turned out.
BATTLE SUMMITⅡJ-REXXX vs MIYACHI
A showdown from BATTLE SUMMIT II held in August 2024.
The two had the crowd hyped even before the battle started, but the real highlights actually went beyond the rapping itself.
It all began when J-REXXX, going first, spent seven out of his eight bars shouting, “Yoyogi Gymnasium, Are you ready~?” which caused MIYACHI to lose track of the bar count.
From there, possibly due to a misunderstanding of the rules as well, their bars kept getting more and more out of sync.
As a result, they ended up rapping over each other during the other’s bars.
Still, neither of them stopped rapping even when overlapped by the other, making it a battle that radiated fierce, head-to-head fighting spirit.
