General changeano

Ano, who is also active as the vocalist of the band I’s and is popular for her distinctive character, released her second major digital single in October 2022.
The song drew attention for being written and composed by Seikan Ozaki of CreepHyp.
Its lyrics give voice to the pain of being constrained by someone else’s idea of “normal” and affirm one’s own version of “normal,” likely resonating deeply with those who find life challenging.
The track was used as the ending theme for the anime KUROMI’S PRETTY JOURNEY and is included on the album Nyan Nyan To To.
It’s a powerful rock number we hope you’ll listen to when you feel swayed by the voices around you.
Futaba Kindergarten SongKawai Eri, MEW & Daikanyama Shōjo Gasshōdan

This is a heartwarming song about the everyday life at the kindergarten Shinnosuke and his friends attend.
It’s performed by singer-songwriter Eri Kawai and the Daikanyama Girls’ Choir, whose pure and gentle voices seem to softly envelop the listener.
The song features a calm, bright melody that conveys the joy of a fun day starting at the kindergarten and the preciousness of ordinary moments spent with friends.
Released in August 1993 as an insert song for the anime Crayon Shin-chan, it can also be found on the album “Crayon Shin-chan Super Best: 30 Tracks.” Listening to this piece is sure to fill anyone with kindness.
It’s a perfect song to start the day.
PhotographEO

When I gaze at the trees turning colors, old memories suddenly come flooding back.
It’s a wistful electronic tune that perfectly suits the sentimental mood of autumn.
Created by EO, a Vocaloid producer known for emotionally stirring soundscapes, the track was released in 2023.
The fragile vocals of Kagamine Rin beautifully harmonize with the melancholic melody.
The lyrics portray the feelings of gazing at a single photograph and cherishing days that can never return.
It’s a piece you’ll want to listen to alone at dusk, lost in your thoughts.

Fighting My WayHatsuboshi Gakuen, Giga, Hanami Saki

This is a character song from the game “Gakuen Idolmaster,” known as Gakumasu, and it’s the solo track by Saki Hanami, whom my student called the final boss! I’ve actually tried singing this at karaoke, but it’s definitely not a song you can sing just by listening to it casually! The tempo is fast and the melody keeps coming at you, so unless you really listen closely and get to the point where you can hum along, it’s pretty tough to actually sing.
In fact, Gakumasu has a lot of songs made by Vocaloid producers, so most of them are apparently quite difficult.
It’s a fun song to just listen to, but if you can sing it, it’s super cool and feels great! When memorizing the song, I recommend humming it.
Don’t force it from your throat—try humming lightly so that you feel the resonance between your eyebrows!
from the edgeFictionJunction feat. LiSA

A special track from composer Yuki Kajiura’s music project FictionJunction featuring rock heroine LiSA! It was selected as the ending theme for the TV anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
The lyrics—seeking light from the depths of darkness and moving forward while bearing sorrow—perfectly reflect the protagonists’ resolve in their battle against demons.
Released in September 2019, this collaboration was realized by the production team’s intent to enhance the work’s overall cohesion.
It’s the perfect number for moments when you want the courage to take a step forward, even amid harsh realities.
Future PerfectENHYPEN

ENHYPEN is a group with enduring popularity thanks to their music that emphasizes storytelling and worldbuilding.
The group’s name is pronounced “En-hai-pun.” Their track “Future Perfect” is renowned as one of their signature songs and was released in 2022.
It highlights hip-hop elements, particularly drawing from drill music, so the low end stands out; however, there are surprisingly few low parts, and the overall arrangement leans toward higher registers.
The vocal range isn’t particularly wide, so with key adjustments it should be singable without issue.
You can sing the hook in a mixed voice as in the original, but delivering the vocals more roughly with some shouts is also recommended.
FIESTAIZ*ONE

IZ*ONE is a 12-member Korean-Japanese girl group.
Known for their glamorous musical style, they’ve produced a string of hits with catchy melodies.
Among their works, a particularly recommended track is “FIESTA.” It has a somewhat synth-pop feel; while the chorus features slightly dramatic pitch changes, the verses and pre-chorus are quite straightforward.
If you set the key around the chorus, it’s a very singable song overall.
