Unique Lyrics! | Interesting Japanese Rap Songs (11–20)
Delusional DanceBlumio

Blumio is one of the most famous Japanese rappers on YouTube.
He keeps making waves on the platform by introducing overseas hip-hop and doing impressions of well-known Japanese rappers.
Beyond YouTube, he’s released some unique tracks as well.
Among them, a song I highly recommend is Mosou Dance (Delusion Dance).
It’s themed around that annoying senior who shows up at drinking parties, and it stands out for its mix of humor and all-too-relatable truths.
GALFY feat. PizzaLoveJ-REXXX

DJ J-REXXX is a deejay who commands overwhelming props in the reggae scene of eastern Japan.
He’s also known as one of the fastest-tongued deejays in the scene and is famous for frequently collaborating with rappers.
This track, “GALFY feat.
PizzaLove,” is one such collaboration with rapper PizzaLove.
It’s themed around GALFY sweats—the kind you sometimes see worn by yankii (delinquent-style kids).
While it definitely leans into the gag from the jump, it’s simply a highly skillful track, and for fans of trap, it’s extremely addictive.
I’m seriously gonna come.Jukkage feat FRANKEN

When it comes to the boss of comedy in the Japanese hip-hop scene, many people probably think of Tokage.
This track, Maji Desousa, is a collaboration between Tokage and FRANKEN, the most popular novelty-type rapper in the MC battle scene.
FRANKEN is known for his catchphrase “Maji de sousa” (“For real, that’s right”), and this song cheekily twists that catchphrase in an extremely indecent direction (lol).
The fact that it actually maintains some tight rhyme schemes is, ironically, exactly what gets me (lol).
The Ultimate Deadbeat Husband feat. Husband 2 & Husband 3t-Ace

t-Ace’s classic track “The Ultimate Deadbeat Husband feat.
Husband 2 & Husband 3.” This song comically portrays the struggles of someone who’s both a rapper and a father.
It features Husband 2 and Husband 3, who are actually Hannya and NORIKIYO.
Both are rappers known for their unique lyrics, so throughout the song you get punchlines that also make you smirk.
Definitely give it a listen.
I’m watching YouTube.Saipuresu Ueno to Roberuto Yoshino

When it comes to unique hip-hop, many people probably picture Cypress Ueno, who performed as a first-generation Monster on Freestyle Dungeon.
Indeed, he has released distinctive tracks.
His duo, Cypress Ueno and Roberto Yoshino, in particular has put out works along those lines.
One I especially recommend is YouTube Mitemasu (“I watch YouTube”).
It’s a surreal piece that captures the subtle feelings about being told “I watch YouTube” out on the street.
It’s Mana Ashida.Jūkage

Tokage is a leading figure among quirky, offbeat rappers.
His “XX Go Bald” videos on YouTube once sparked a huge buzz.
He’s known for his distinctive, unique lyrics, and lately his humor has become even sharper.
Among his works, one song I especially recommend is “Ashida Mana Dayo.” The lyrics are quirky, but the track carries a subtly serious vibe as well.
That contrast, I think, is a key part of his skill.

I quit my part-time job.Miyauchi

This is a song by Miyauchi, expressing the resolve to say goodbye to a familiar part-time job life, driven by a passion for rap.
The joy of being able to make a living through music and the exhilaration of stepping onto the stage are conveyed directly in down-to-earth words.
The track is included on the mixtape “The Mixtape 2,” slated for release in January 2025.
The anecdote about rewriting the lyrics multiple times also conveys the dedication poured into this work.
It vividly captures the hopeful feeling of taking a new step toward a dream, and by the end, it’s sure to give you the courage to believe in your future and take on new challenges.
