Karaoke songs sung by female artists recommended for Gen Z (61–70)

Good luck to me tomorrow.Nanawo Akari

Good Fortune to Tomorrow’s Me / Nanawo Akari
Good luck to me tomorrow.Nanawo Akari

This is a refreshing pop tune that portrays a woman moving toward the future while cherishing her own pace.

Composed by Tamaya 2060% of the galactic punk band Wienners, it’s a track marked by Nanawo Akari’s characteristically catchy vocals and melodies.

Rather than forcing a first step, this song gives you the courage to move forward in your own way, and it’s sure to capture fans’ hearts and never let go.

It will be included as a single to be released in February 2025, and has been selected as the ending theme for the TV anime “I’m a Guild Receptionist, but I Don’t Like Overtime, So I’m Going to Solo the Boss.” In karaoke, its gentle melody line and pop feel make it easy to sing.

Highly recommended for anyone who wants to keep their individuality while moving forward.

I’m only gazing at you.Daikoku Maki

As an artist born in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Maki Ohguro has captivated many fans with her powerful vocals and compelling performances.

She began performing in bands in high school and made her debut in 1992.

Since then, she has colored the music scene with songs rooted in pop while embracing a wide range of genres, including rock and R&B.

Known for her strong vocals and catchy melodies, she won the Excellence Award at the Japan Record Awards and the Best 5 Artists at the Japan Gold Disc Awards in 1995.

After overcoming a period of hiatus, she continues to be energetically active today.

Her world, conveyed through powerful singing and lyrics that resonate deeply, is a perfect match for listeners seeking both the strength and warmth that music can offer.

A hundred flowers in full bloomIkuta Rira

Rira Ikuta, known as the vocalist of YOASOBI, is also active as a solo artist and has produced numerous classic songs to date.

Among her works, the one I especially recommend is Hyakka Ryoran.

It may seem like a high-pitched song, but for a Rira Ikuta track, its vocal range is relatively narrow, and there aren’t any high sections with continuous falsetto.

However, there are many key changes, so make sure to firmly grasp the melody in advance.

Venus bugHoshimachi Suisei

Venus bugHoshimachi Suisei

An ambitious work by Suisei Hoshimachi that delicately yet powerfully portrays the feelings of a young woman searching for herself amid the dazzling lights of the big city.

Set against the backdrop of Shibuya, it captures with striking realism the relatable emotions of someone who holds fast to her own identity without being swept away by those around her, yet sometimes puts on a brave face.

It’s a memorable track that conveys the determination to carve out one’s own path, even while being swayed by one’s environment and the voices around them.

The song was written and provided by Enon Kawatani—known for Gesu no Kiwami Otome.

and indigo la End—and was included on her third album, “Shinsei Mokuroku,” released in January 2025.

Kawatani himself appears in the music video, which has become a hot topic.

It’s a song recommended for anyone who wants to move forward while valuing their authentic self.

In karaoke, expressing your true, unvarnished self will surely resonate with listeners.

Minako Honda, who made a dazzling transformation from idol singer to musical theater star.

Since her debut in 1985, she shone on the idol scene while also taking on classical music and musicals, showcasing activities that transcended genres.

She successfully held her first concert at the Nippon Budokan and, in 1988, formed the female rock band MINAKO with WILD CATS.
