A warm, encouraging song that stands beside anyone standing at a crossroads in life.

Its memorable blend of a gentle melody and a powerful band sound tenderly embraces the anxieties and doubts of chasing a dream, as well as the feelings of those on the verge of giving up.

Released as Hump Back’s major-label debut in June 2018, the track was featured as the ending theme for Nippon TV’s “Buzz Rhythm 02” and as the commercial song for the Shinken Zemi High School Course.

It was also chosen as the theme song for the Kumamoto Tournament of the National High School Baseball Championship, capturing the hearts of many young people.

When you want to strive toward your dreams but can’t quite find the courage to take that first step, this is the song to listen to.

It assures you that detours are never in vain, and that every experience will surely become a source of strength.

“If you don’t give up, a chance will surely come around.” That’s the message embedded in “Kaisin no Ichigeki” (“Critical Hit”).

It’s a track RADWIMPS created as the lead single for their album ‘X to O to Tsumi to’ (“X and O and Sin”).

The lyrics are packed with positive words that encourage listeners.

The chorus strings together upbeat phrases that rhyme, giving it a refreshing feel.

Go for it!Nakajima Miyuki

As you can tell from the title, this song is a cheer anthem for many people.

It was originally by Miyuki Nakajima, and it’s a classic that’s been covered by many artists! I’ve heard the song was created in 1982 based on a letter sent to a radio show, and it’s meant for those who fight against the world’s injustices and the things we can’t control.

Some of the lyrics were written directly from the contents of that letter, which makes it feel very real.

Even so, Miyuki Nakajima’s words give you the strength to overcome those struggles, and they truly lift your spirits.

I think many people struggle with wanting to value their own opinions but ending up going along with those around them.

Students in particular might relate.

But when you listen to this song, its powerful message moves you and makes you want to cherish yourself.

Even if you can’t be the main character, you are wonderful just for trying—this heartwarming number sings that message.

It’s a track by BERRY GOODMAN, released digitally in December 2024, written specifically for NHK’s “Minna no Uta.” Based on the words of Tomoshige Yamashita, the honorary manager of the Seiryo High School baseball team, it was created as a cheer song for people who keep striving, and it resonated deeply with many listeners.

It might be the perfect song to send when you want to encourage someone.
