Taiyo Tsubaki began playing the violin at the age of two.

He won the Grand Prize for Music (overall first place across all four divisions) at the 17th High School Cultural Federation Solo Contest, and took first place at the 10th Great Wall Cup International Music Competition, where he also received the Consul General of China in Osaka Award.

In addition, he recorded for the soundtrack of Final Fantasy Record Keeper and serves as a support member for the idol group Candy Boy, making him a Japanese violinist active across a wide range of genres beyond classical music.
