My name is Keisuke Hane, and I have been appointed the new Editor-in-Chief.

I joined the editorial team in 2016 and have since devoted myself to daily operations as Deputy Editor-in-Chief.

I still vividly remember being invited by the former Editor-in-Chief to write my first article introducing a music festival—it feels like it was just the other day.

Being entrusted with the role of Editor-in-Chief for a site that has been running for nearly a decade, I feel a profound sense of responsibility and renewed determination.

Our site, RAG MUSIC, began in 2013 by sharing recording know-how.

The following year, we expanded to instrument reviews and practice guides, and we have since developed our current main content: song review articles.

In addition, we deliver all kinds of music and entertainment-related information to music lovers across Japan, including a music festival calendar, live reports from music festivals, on-the-ground reports from New Year sales at instrument shops and various instrument shows, as well as features on performances and entertainment segments, and articles on school events such as cultural festivals and sports days.

With my appointment as Editor-in-Chief, I will work to further expand our content in the music and entertainment fields, on top of the areas mentioned above.

Building on the experience I gained under the former Editor-in-Chief, I will make RAG MUSIC a site that more people can enjoy and find useful.
