The Evil That Men DoIron Maiden

It’s a track by a world-famous British metal band—one that needs no introduction.
While it’s relatively minor within their catalog, the way the guitar comes in during the intro is insanely cool and totally captivating.
I think even today’s high schoolers would find it awesome, so I highly recommend it.
Punk Rock DreamKen Yokoyama

Ken Yokoyama, who played guitar in Hi-STANDARD, made his solo debut as Ken Yokoyama and formed a band.
They’ve appeared on TV many times and are a hugely popular band.
The onstage banter at their shows is a highlight—he always speaks passionately.
His words often strike a chord and can even influence your life! At festivals and other events, though only occasionally, they perform Hi-STANDARD songs to delight fans!
Are You Gonna Go My WayLenny Kravitz

This fast-paced song by American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Lenny Kravitz has been used in various car commercials, including Nissan’s Wingroad and Suzuki’s Alto Works ads.

The Day That Never ComesMetallica

It’s a song by a hugely popular metal band, one of the “Big Four” of American thrash metal.
Although this track isn’t very popular, the backing guitar riffs are incredibly cool, making it a metal classic that really gets you pumped.
I think it’s relatively easy to listen to even for high school students who haven’t listened to much metal, so I recommend it.
About A GirlNirvana

A rare poppy and refreshing song for Nirvana: About a Girl.
With a pop melody reminiscent of the Beatles, there was apparently some debate at first about whether to include it on the album, but it’s a gem that showcases Kurt Cobain’s pop sensibility.
Perfect-Sense DreamerONE OK ROCK

This track features cool guitar, bass, and drums, so it’s sure to get you pumped up.
Wrapped in its intense sound, your excitement will reach the max.
With double bass drums, the song gains depth and really builds.
Paradise BabyRIP SLYME

It’s a single by the hip-hop group RIP SLYME, released in June 2002.
The phrase sampled from classical guitar is very striking.
It peaked at No.
2 on the Oricon charts.
Incidentally, PES’s pet chihuahua appears in the promotional video.
