Many people say instrumental tracks are hard to remember, but this one features an unforgettable guitar riff and an upbeat groove that make it incredibly appealing.

Plus, its music video is an idea-driven MV created without any PC compositing, so the visuals are enjoyable as well.

Born To Be WildSteppenwolf

Included on the 1968 album “Steppenwolf.” A five-piece band formed in Canada in 1967.

This song, famously used in the film Easy Rider, is extremely well-known; with its dry opening guitar, simple yet muscular drums, it’s a truly hard-hitting track.

HANABIikimonogakari

He sings with a powerful voice.

The guitar and harmonica create a cool sound, yet there’s a sense of wistfulness within it.

It’s a song that brings out a different flavor from the others.

Portraying summer fireworks in a cool way and turning that into a song is something you don’t see very often, is it?

BIRTHDAYkururi

This track is defined by its comfortable guitar sound.

The gentle resonance of the acoustic guitar makes it perfect as background music while you work.

Simple yet memorable, its riff is one almost everyone has heard at least once.

The stylish, powerful electric guitar parts add a dynamic accent to the flow of your day.

Released in February 2005, it was included on Quruli’s sixth album, “NIKKI.” The lyrics are striking for the way they depict small everyday moments and feelings, expressing the beauty of cherished memories in life.

They sing about the special feelings that come with each new morning and the bonds with those we hold dear.

It’s a must-listen not only for guitar lovers, but for anyone who wants to spend the day in a calm, relaxed mood.

Go for it!!Urufuruzu

Included on the 1996 album “Banzai.” A four-piece band from Osaka formed in 1988.

Overall, both the drums and bass are funky, but especially the guitar that kicks into high gear from the intro—its bouncy feel makes this a superb track that fuses funk and rock.

Shikao Suga - Beyond the Night Sky
Beyond the Night SkySuga Shikao

There’s also a version sung by SMAP, but personally I prefer this one by the husky-voiced Shikao Suga, whose voice seems to melt into the night sky.

I think the arpeggiated guitar phrases and tones perfectly match the nighttime atmosphere.

Turbocharger ONRin to shite Shigure

With a glittering, electro-like intro guitar sound that makes effective use of a delay effect, it’s unmistakably a Ling tosite sigure-style track.

Above all, it’s a piece where TK’s guitar technique is pushed to the forefront.

The various picking and playing styles are also great to learn from.
