Swirly Ghost made with Yarn and a Paper Carton
A swirly ghost made with yarn and a paper carton gives off a warm, cozy look.
Its tactile feel is part of the charm, too.
Adjust the size of the ghost you want to make using the paper carton and create the base.
Then wrap your choice of yarn around it from the top.
By wrapping more times, the ghost gains volume and turns into a plump, gentle-looking figure.
Mixing yarn colors or adding sparkly beads and shiny stickers is also recommended.
Finish by attaching eye stickers, and it’s complete.
Curly Yarn Ghost

How about making some fun twirling ghosts using toilet paper rolls? All you need are toilet paper rolls, yarn, cellophane tape, scissors, and colored pens.
You can make them with things you already have at home, so it’s easy to try.
Wrap orange, black, or red yarn around ghosts with big googly eyes or triangle-shaped eyes.
Since they roll around, you can come up with all kinds of ways to play with them depending on your ideas.
Black Cat of Halloween

This is a cute, shaggy black cat made with yarn and a toilet paper roll.
Toilet paper rolls are handy because you can use their round tube shape while easily cutting and gluing them.
Once the roll base is ready, wrap black yarn all around it.
Use glue to adjust and attach the head, body, and tail.
After forming the black cat’s body, attach felt ears and a hat with double-sided tape.
Finally, add a cute ribbon and bell, and stick on round-label eyes.
Your charming, fluffy black cats are complete!
Halloween Cup Wrapped with Yarn

Make Jack-o’-lantern, monster, and Frankenstein cups using yarn and paper cups.
First, apply double-sided tape to the paper cup and punch two holes near the rim.
Peel off the backing paper, then wrap the yarn around and around the cup.
Create facial features from construction paper or use stickers to add expressions.
Choose two pipe cleaners, twist them together into a bundle, and thread them through the holes you made in the cup.
Shape them like a handle, and you’re all set.
You can hang them from the ceiling or fill them with treats to give as gifts—perfect for livening up Halloween in all sorts of settings.

Once you’ve attached the kids’ crafts, it’s complete! Let’s make a Halloween-themed garland.
Take a handprint with white paint on black construction paper, then stick on cut cotton swabs to transform it into a skeleton hand! Next, take a handprint with green and black paint on purple construction paper, add scars and facial features, and it becomes Frankenstein.
You can also press a handprint with orange paint while the hand is clenched to turn it into a jack-o’-lantern.
Hang these handprint crafts on a string to finish a special garland.
Easy Cat

Four connected cats look adorable! Here’s an easy-to-make cat idea.
Autumn is shedding season for cats.
This simple cat-motif craft is recommended for people who have cats at home or those who love cat motifs.
Prepare origami paper, scissors, and a pen for sketching, and give it a try.
You can use any color of origami you like.
If you make it with black or orange origami, it could also work well as a Halloween decoration.
Be sure to try it out!
ghost puppet

The “Ghost Puppet,” made by sewing together white and black felt with a sewing machine, is a handmade puppet idea that can be enjoyed at nurseries and kindergartens.
The ghost’s body is securely stitched by machine, and the eyes and mouth are attached with glue using felt, making it durable and long-lasting—safe for small children to play with.
If you show the sewing machine in action during the process, it will spark children’s curiosity, and the finished puppet will be a hit in pretend play and performances.
It’s a perfect craft for seasonal events like Halloween, and a recommended idea for childcare workers and parents.
Lollipop of the Ghost
Let’s make ghost lollipops to get into the Halloween spirit.
First, create a ghost out of white construction paper.
If the kids are fairly used to crafts, they can make it freely.
Next, dye some paper towels with paint.
Using a dropper to drip the paint makes it easier to dye and keeps cleanup simple.
Since the paint will become the color of the candy, it’s best to prepare bright colors.
Once the paper towels are dry, twist them into a stick shape, then wind them around and glue them onto a piece of thick paper that will serve as the base.
You’ll need several sheets of paper towel, so dyeing extra in advance will give you peace of mind.
Finally, attach the candy stick and the ghost to the candy, and you’re done!
Spider web decoration
Let’s make spider web decorations together with 4–5-year-olds.
First, cut the rim of a paper cup in a wavy line and draw a face to make a ghost.
Next, crumple some tissue paper, wrap it with patterned paper to make a candy.
Then paint wooden sticks white, arrange four of them like spokes, and glue them together.
The key is to attach them firmly with glue.
To make the spider, wrap black yarn around a plastic fork about 50 times, secure it, then cut with scissors to make a pom-pom.
Use pipe cleaners to create the spider’s legs and attach them to the pom-pom.
For the finishing touch, weave white thread around the wooden sticks to form a spider web, then attach all the items you made to complete the decoration.
mini lantern
Here’s an introduction to making a mini lantern using an R-1 plastic bottle.
It looks just like a real lantern, but it’s easy to make, so give it a try! First, cut the bottle into three equal parts; you won’t use the middle section, so recycle it.
Wrap black masking tape around the cut edges of the top and bottom sections, and cover the entire bottom section with the tape to make it black.
Finally, cover the cap with tape, make a hole in it, and attach a chenille stem (pipe cleaner) as a handle to finish.
It looks cute if you put ghost stickers or other decals on the clear part.
Place a candle-style LED light inside and enjoy.
