[Sweets] A Collection of Perfect Homemade Treat Ideas for Halloween (11–20)
Marshmallow Ghost Brownies

How about making brownies topped with cute but slightly spooky marshmallow ghosts? It’s super easy! First, melt butter with eggs and chocolate, then add pancake mix and stir in more chocolate.
Next, transfer the batter to a tray and bake at 180°C for just under 30 minutes.
Finally, top with marshmallows and draw the ghosts’ faces with chocolate—that’s it! These marshmallow ghost brownies are a great pick because they won’t look too similar to other pumpkin-based sweets.
Eyeball gummy

If you want to go for something Instagrammable, these “eyeball gummies” are highly recommended.
They look a little spooky, but they’re surprisingly easy to make.
Color the iris part red or yellow for an extra horror vibe! Using dark juices like grape juice to tint the iris gives a clean, vivid finish.
For the white of the eye, use milk.
If you don’t have a round silicone mold, you can use eggshells as a substitute.
You can make a lot at once, so try out different variations! Eyeball gummies would also be a hit floating in juice as toppings for a fruit punch.
Eyeball jelly

How about “eyeball jelly” as a snack for kindergarten or daycare events? As long as you have a large refrigerator to chill the jelly, it’s easy to make.
Since the main ingredient is mostly gelatin, it’s also budget-friendly.
Use shaved ice syrup to color the iris.
Strawberry syrup makes a slightly spooky jelly, while melon syrup makes a fun one.
The trick is to make the iris part in two layers.
The sclera can be either clear or white by mixing in milk.
It’s a quirky dessert that will get the kids excited!
Eyeball chocolate

Eyeball Chocolates are chocolates arranged in the shape of eyeballs.
Their creepy appearance makes them perfect for Halloween! To make them, first blend your choice of Baumkuchen, wafers, or similar treats.
Adding a pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg as a secret touch will give them a richer flavor.
Once blended, roll the mixture into eyeball shapes and coat them with white chocolate.
Finally, add a melted chocolate topping for the pupil, and you’re done.
Instead of a chocolate topping, you can also make a mousse and spread it on—highly recommended, so give it a try!
Jet-Black Cheesecake

Have you heard of “blackened cheesecake”? Basque-style cheesecake is baked so well that you might think the top is a bit burnt.
You might wonder, “Is a pitch-black cheesecake a failed attempt?” But once you taste it, you’ll go, “Delicious!”—a fun little surprise.
It’s perfect as a dessert to brighten up a Halloween event.
If you want the inside of the cake to be black, you can probably use edible charcoal powder or Italian squid ink.
It also sounds fun to draw Halloween designs on top with white chocolate!
