Ideas for Games to Liven Up Elementary School Halloween Parties (31–40)
Zombie tag

This game is inspired by zombies, a classic Halloween costume theme.
The rules are almost the same as regular tag, but there’s one key twist: the chaser must act like a zombie.
Also, anyone tagged by a zombie becomes a zombie too—just like in zombie movies—and starts chasing the remaining humans.
A key point is to really get into character, so don’t run too fast.
If everyone turns into a zombie within the time limit, you lose.
You can also add rules like using a vaccine, or create your own original rules for extra fun!
Eyeball Drop Game
How about enjoying a DIY “eyeball drop” game using paper cups, a ping-pong ball, a paper plate, and chopsticks? Cut a hole in the center of the paper plate for the ping-pong ball to pass through, and attach a handle using the chopsticks.
Draw Halloween-style designs like pumpkins or eyeballs on the ping-pong ball, line up about six paper cups on a table, and you’re set! The rule is to place the ping-pong ball on the paper plate, roll it around, and drop it through the center hole into a paper cup.
You can increase the number of cups, set a time limit, and come up with various ways to play depending on your ideas!
Treats? Tricks? Game

This is a game inspired by the classic Halloween phrase “Trick or Treat,” meaning “Give me candy or I’ll play a trick on you.” First, for preparation, get two identical containers: put candy in one and slime in the other.
Then the children, with their eyes closed, reach into one of the containers.
If they get candy, lucky them; if it’s slime, too bad.
The slightly strange feel of the slime adds a nice, Halloween-like touch.
Halloween True or False Game

Why not try a true-or-false quiz as a way to learn more about Halloween? You’ll be asked questions like which country Halloween originated in and what date it’s held, and you answer with true or false.
Don’t just reveal the answers—explain them by including stories such as the origins of the annually celebrated Halloween and the tale of the jack-o’-lantern.
That way, the event will be even more enjoyable.
It’s a quiz that will further boost the excitement of children who are looking forward to Halloween day.
Ghost Stroll Play
This is a perfect Halloween pet-bottle ghost walking game.
Put marbles in a plastic bottle and roll it—the rattling sound inside is so fun! By moving it slowly so the ghost doesn’t topple over and doesn’t stray off the course, kids naturally develop a sense of hand pressure and improve coordination between their eyes and hands.
It also boosts concentration and control while they play! It’s an ideal craft-and-play activity for Halloween events, letting not only elementary schoolers but also younger children practice body movements while having fun.
Kids and adults alike—give it a try together!
