Thumb-Stretching Magic
It’s a magic trick where you cleverly hide the thumb of one hand and then quickly pop out the thumb of the other hand, making it look like the first thumb has stretched.
It seems simple, but if the thumb you reveal later is visible from the start, or if it appears at an unnatural moment, it won’t look like the thumb is stretching at all.
Practice in front of a mirror to refine the visual appearance and timing, and make sure you can move your hands smoothly so it truly looks like it’s stretching.

Pinch your nose with your index finger.
Cross both arms with your index fingers pointing up, pinch your nose with the raised index fingers, then release the crossed arms.
If you do this in sync with your target, only the target ends up looking like they’ve pinched their nose with crossed index fingers.
To uncross cleanly, the way you pinch the nose matters: you cross the index fingers even further to create a double cross, which allows for the release.
The key point is to make the final index-finger cross with the smallest possible movement so the other person doesn’t notice.
