[Christmas Craft] How to Make a Cute Mini Christmas Tree with Pine Cones! [Nursery School/Kindergarten]
Cute mini Christmas tree

Let’s make a mini tree that’s small and easy to display.

You’ll need a pine cone, decorative parts, paint, and glue.

First, paint the pine cone in your tree color.

If you paint the whole cone green and then add white just to the tips, you can create the look of snow on the tree.

After that, use glue to attach the decorations, and you’re done.

Use any parts you like—decorative balls, beads, pipe cleaners, and more—to finish your tree beautifully.

Here are some DIY Christmas decoration ideas using pine cones and acorns you can pick up on a walk.

Be sure to sterilize the pine cones and acorns in boiling water before using them.

Paint the pine cones in any colors you like, decorate them with beads, pom-poms, pipe cleaners, and ribbon flowers, then glue them onto a coaster to serve as the base.

Next, color the acorns with markers to make Santa and a reindeer.

For the reindeer’s antlers, cut them out of origami paper with scissors.

Glue Santa and the reindeer onto the base, fill any gaps with cotton, and you’re done!

Why not try making a natural tree using popsicle sticks? Use long sticks for the trunk, and cut sticks into shorter pieces and shape them into V’s for the leaves.

Make V’s in various lengths—some short, some long.

Combining them will create the tree’s triangular shape.

When attaching the parts to the base, glue the V’s upside down.

Once the tree is assembled, decorate it with any embellishments you like.

You can also make a flowerpot using clay and popsicle sticks!

It’s a hanging tree, and we’ll use cardboard for the base.

First, cut a large circle out of the cardboard.

From the outer edge toward the center, draw four more evenly spaced circles, and carefully cut them out with a utility knife.

We’ll connect these five circles with string to form the tree.

Connect them in order with small gaps in between, making sure the smallest circle is at the top.

Once connected, decorate the edges of the cardboard with tape, wrap green chenille stems around it, add ornaments, and you’re done! Try making it in any shape you like, such as triangles or stars.

How about making a colorful beaded tree? Its mini size makes it easy to display, and the lovely transparency would make it a great gift.

For this idea, you’ll need beads, resin, and a tool to quickly cure the resin.

Prepare a large flat bead for the base, medium beads to form the tree, small beads to represent ornaments, and a star-shaped bead for the tree topper.

To assemble, simply stack them in order from the base up, so feel free to create it in whatever size and shape you like.
