The crown of the cake

Here’s how to make a handmade birthday cake crown.
The key materials while making it are red masking tape and Posca markers.
Cut yellow construction paper to create the cake base, then use white construction paper to represent whipped cream—cut and paste it on.
Once you add the red masking tape, the cake looks decorated and delicious! Stick on strawberries and add candles, and your tasty-looking cake is complete! Use a Posca marker to add accents on the red masking tape, too.
Cut out numbers from holographic stickers and paste them on to finish the birthday cake crown.
Adjust the crown size with a rubber band.
Give it a try—it’s the perfect crown for a birthday party!
Crown made with craft foam board

We’d like to introduce a cool crown you can make using COS Board Takumi.
Draw the shape of the crown on the COS Board Takumi and cut it out.
After cutting, warm it with a heat gun and form it into a crown shape.
Attach long, thin decorative parts to the crown, and add a flower decoration on the top.
Stick a disposable chopstick on for painting, apply color, and use a sponge brush on the back to create a rusty look for more realism.
Add highlights and stick on rhinestones to complete the crown! When working, it’s best to lay down newspaper or similar to protect your surface.
Give it a try!
Crown made from cardboard

We’ll start by drawing the shapes of a crown and a tiara, then cut them out.
After cutting, assemble each one by stapling it together.
Once assembled, decorate the crown and tiara by attaching shiny materials like glittery stickers.
When they’re finished, be sure to wear them and have fun! If using a stapler is difficult for some children, please help them with the pressure.
It’s also recommended to enjoy pretend play as a king or princess.
Please consider incorporating this into your childcare activities.
Crown made with beads

Here’s a sparkling tiara that also makes a great gift.
We’ll make it using wire and beads.
Thread the beads and twist the wire to secure them, shaping it into a crown as you go.
It’s best to follow along step by step while watching each part of the process.
Since you’ll be using pliers, be careful to avoid injury.
Once you attach decorations to the top of the crown with glue, it’s finished.
Try making this luxurious crown—perfect as a display piece or a delightful present.
Crown of the Mole

Here’s a fluffy chenille-stem crown you can easily make.
First, shape two chenille stems into circles.
Once they’re ready, use another stem to connect the two.
When twisting the stems to secure them, the key is to twist gently without using too much force.
For the tips of the crown, form small rounded shapes with the stems.
Attach these rounded tips to the crown, and you’re done.
Chenille stems are soft and easy to shape, which is their charm.
It’s also fun to play with different colors and forms using the stems.
Give it a try and make a cute chenille-stem crown!
