Advanced magic tricks for experts: Explanations and compilation of methods (21–30)
Teleportation of a coin

It starts with cards placed over coins at the four corners of a table, but then the coins begin moving one after another to different spots.
In the second half, the cards are removed and it shifts into a coins-only teleportation routine.
Simply waving a hand makes the coins jump successively, and in the end they transform into rose petals.
Tricks like this involving teleportation can sometimes use extra coins hidden in the palm with a technique called palming, beyond the four you can see, but that doesn’t seem to be the case here.
In fact, there’s a trick mechanism known as black art: you can’t tell through the screen, but in person you’d see flaps that flip open and shut on the black mat.
Still, even if that mechanism was used, it’s so smart and smooth that you’d be tempted to believe it’s real magic.
Hamburger Magic

This is a magic trick where a real hamburger appears from a hamburger menu hanging on the wall.
When you wave both hands over it, the hamburger on the menu disappears and is replaced by a real hamburger.
You take a bite of the hamburger and place it back on the menu.
Then, the menu shows a photo of a bitten hamburger.
The hamburger magic is one of the signature tricks of the famous magician Cyril.
It’s highly impactful and has been featured on television.
While it’s quite difficult for beginners, the sense of accomplishment when you pull it off is immeasurable.
Give it a try!
Cyril’s consecutive magic

Magician Cyril, who was hugely popular on TV from the 2000s to the 2010s, captivated viewers with a variety of magic tricks.
The segment I’m introducing today was a TV show project where Cyril put on special makeup to look like an elderly man and performed magic on the street to astonish people.
He leaned to an incredible angle while standing, made a bottle of tea appear from an advertisement—he really did whatever he wanted! By the way, this leaning illusion is the same performance known as “Zero Gravity” featured in Michael Jackson’s Smooth Criminal.
It’s known that there’s a hook in the floor that catches onto the sole of the shoe.
However, even with the hook, you still need the muscle strength to hold the posture and the performance skills to make it look weightless.
A card that disappears when you hold your hand over it

The disappearing card trick, where a card vanishes with a wave of the hand, is a popular move in magic.
With smooth sleight of hand, you can quickly find the card your spectator selected.
The key points are to prepare four cards of the same number at the start and to avoid any awkward movements.
You’ll need to practice so your audience doesn’t catch on.
It may be difficult, but when you pull it off, you’ll get great reactions.
Be sure to master it!
A magic trick for guessing the order of cards

It’s a magic trick where you have someone swap a card from a spread deck, then you identify that card from the squared deck.
The key is to set up a color sequence in advance and then control the colors through subsequent shuffles and rearrangements.
By carefully following a seemingly self-working arrangement and executing the following shuffles in order, you end up with two piles separated into red and black, from which the swapped red and black cards are revealed.
Patter that makes it look like you’re repeatedly failing, while secretly rearranging the cards, heightens the surprise.
Elevator card

Let’s try the classic “Elevator Card” magic trick! First, shuffle the deck in front of your audience and have someone draw a card without letting the magician see it.
After they return the card and you shuffle again, say, “This is the card you picked,” and perform the trick of making the card rise using static electricity or your fingers.
The secret is to set the selected card on the top of the deck and only shuffle the remaining cards.
It’s a trick that kids and adults alike can enjoy—give it a try and show it off!
Triumph

In the world of card magic, Triumph is a captivating piece that astonishes audiences.
Among the mixed cards, only the selected card ends up facing the other way—simple, yet deeply memorable.
Created by Dai Vernon, this effect requires challenging shuffles and deft handling.
That’s why only those who practice diligently can perform it flawlessly.
Many strive to master Triumph, and the effort to uncover its secrets leads directly to the joy of performing.
It’s a wonderful routine that lets you savor the true charm of card magic.
