I can’t cut it. No good, Tanjiro. I can’t do it.

Near the end of the story, Tanjiro—believed to be dead—turns into a demon.
Determined not to let Tanjiro kill anyone, Giyu shouts that Tanjiro must be killed.
Hearing this, Inosuke rushes over and points his blade at Tanjiro.
In the past, Tanjiro had told Inosuke and Zenitsu, “We’re comrades, like brothers.
If any one of us starts to stray from the path, we’ll all stop him together,” and that promise flashes through Inosuke’s mind.
But when he sees Tanjiro, now a demon, attacking him, he says this line and breaks down in tears.
This is the same Inosuke who, back on Natagumo Mountain, was ready to immediately grant a fellow slayer’s wish to be put out of his misery… It was a heartbreakingly painful scene.
Headlong charge! Make way for Lord Inosuke!!

He says it often himself, and it suits someone raised by boars perfectly.
This line is spoken by Inosuke after he awakens on the Mugen Train.
On the train, Enmu manipulates their dreams and puts everyone to sleep.
Tanjiro is the first to wake up, but by then Enmu has already fused with the train.
In the worst possible situation, with nearly 200 passengers taken hostage, the next to awaken is Inosuke.
Bursting through the train’s ceiling and shouting this line, he makes a lively entrance that leaves Tanjiro visibly relieved.
Me, thinking? That’s not meeeeee!!
Inosuke was fighting the Father Spider together with Tanjiro on Natagumo Mountain.
However, during the battle, Tanjiro was flung to another location by the Father Spider.
Having acknowledged Tanjiro as impressive for keeping an eye on the whole field in the fight against the Mother Spider, Inosuke decided to trust Tanjiro’s words, “Don’t die until I get back,” and somehow hold out until Tanjiro returned.
But then he realized that this went against his own headlong, boar-charge style.
Shouting this out, he went straight at the Father Spider head-on, blades swinging.
It was a memorable scene showing Inosuke being influenced by others.

Is this yours? Don’t let it get taken again.
After Shinobu Kocho was defeated by the Upper Rank demon Doma in the Infinity Castle, the one who took over the fight was Kanao Tsuyuri.
Enraged by the killing of Shinobu—who was like an older sister to her—she still kept her cool and continued to fight, but Doma seized her only weapon, her sword.
That’s when Inosuke appeared.
This time, he snatched the sword back from Doma and handed it to Kanao.
These lines are the words Inosuke said to Kanao.
Inosuke casually taking the blade back from an Upper Rank and passing it to her was just so cool.
It’s okay, don’t worry about it.
https://www.tiktok.com/@tohru877/video/7247649944398499074Inosuke was rescued at the last moment from the Father Spider by Giyu Tomioka, but he challenged Giyu to a fight to defeat him and claim the top spot—only to be easily beaten in return.
Giyu told him, “If you can’t even gauge the extent of your own injuries, stay out of the fight,” and left him hanging from a tree.
Thus Inosuke withdrew from the front lines and was taken to the Butterfly Mansion, where the wounded are treated.
There, Tanjiro apologized for not being able to come back to help, and Inosuke said these words.
He was so crushed by his own weakness that it was an uncharacteristically meek line for Inosuke.
Don’t get caught in a damn trap! Don’t die such a lame death!
The one on the Mugen Train was Enmu, Lower Rank One.
Enmu possessed the ability to manipulate dreams, destroying a person’s spiritual core while they were dreaming.
Tanjiro and the others who boarded the Mugen Train fell into Enmu’s trap and were drawn into dreams… To wake up from the dream, they had to take their own lives.
In the dream, Tanjiro cut his own neck and awakened, but he was put to sleep again and again afterward.
Because he kept being forced to sleep and then waking up, Tanjiro eventually lost the ability to distinguish reality from dreams.
He was about to cut his neck in the real world, but Inosuke stopped him with these words.
It was a scene that conveyed Inosuke’s kindness and his growth in fighting while being aware of those around him.
Y-You… y-you’re looking really great or something!! What happened!?

While fighting Daki, an Upper Rank demon, in the red-light district, Inosuke sees that Tanjiro and Uzui are about to sever Gyutaro’s neck, and he panics, thinking they need to hurry and aim for Daki’s neck too.
At that moment, Zenitsu calms Inosuke down and explains that they don’t have to do it at exactly the same time—what matters is making sure the two demons’ necks aren’t connected.
This line is what Inosuke says to Zenitsu in response.
Inosuke was astonished to see Zenitsu, who’s usually cowardly and tends to run from demons, being so reliable.
