Tilt your body so that the side without the arm in the sleeve is in shadow.
Then, with the arm that is in the sleeve, make a gesture as if you’re sending power, while using your other hand to hold the hat and move it up and down.
This makes it look like the hat is floating.
Be careful, though—depending on the angle, the trick will be exposed right away.
