Riddles—some of you probably got really into them as kids.
Once you’re in high school, you don’t get many chances to do them, right? So if you give them another try after a while, you might find they’re actually pretty fun.
In this article, I’m introducing riddles I’d like high school students like you to tackle.
They’re great for killing time, of course, and I’ve also included some quiz-like questions on history and math, so they might even help you study.

Easy: Riddles for High School Students (1–10)
History Quiz: “Who am I?”
If you’re a high school student currently studying history, you might breeze through this! It’s a quiz where you guess historical figures (and sometimes treaties) from the Kofun period to the Showa era based on hints.
From famous Sengoku warlords to more niche figures, people who appear in history textbooks show up one after another in chronological order.
The answers appear quickly at the bottom of the screen, so try to answer as if it were a fast-buzzer quiz.

Fastest-finger riddles
Many people may have tried fast-response quiz games, but how about fast-response riddles? Even simple riddles that you can solve with a little thought become quite challenging when they’re asked in rapid succession and must be answered immediately.
Prepare a set of riddles in advance—chosen from books or videos—and present them one after another.
Have two or more players answer.
When all the questions have been asked, the person with the most correct answers wins.
Easy Riddles for High School Students (11–20)

You’ll find questions that make you think, “This doesn’t seem that hard,” but mixed in are trick questions that make you want to snap, “Hey!” as well as gritty, gut-punch problems that really stick with you—overall, it’s a pretty entertaining problem set.
As for the trick questions, go in expecting to be tricked.
