The AKB group in Osaka is NMB48.
They showcase Osaka’s uniquely cheerful character to the fullest, making them cute and funny idols.
I think many people prefer them over AKB, and I’m one of those people.

2014 Japanese hit songs (31–40)
Gera Gera Po SongKingu Kurīmusōda
I didn’t know this group or their song, but I thought it was a playful and comical, fun track.
The dance is distinctive, and I think even kids could enjoy it and dance along.
Having songs like this become popular is a good thing for Japan’s music scene as well.
Let It Go ~As I Am~Matsu Takako
This song was the most popular track on cable music.
I think many people were surprised by Takako Matsu’s vocal ability and power.
It earned support from children and adults alike and became a masterpiece that transcended gender boundaries, so I’m sure it will continue to be sung in the future.
