The most popular female idol group when I was young was Morning Musume.
I’m glad they’re still active today, even after repeated member changes.
It’s a shame this song didn’t sell very well, especially since I think its quality is on par with AKB’s.

The female idol group that comes after AKB is Nogizaka46.
I think both groups are great, but Nogizaka46 has a slightly more mature and calm vibe.
This group is worth keeping an eye on, so you should listen to this song too.

Recently, Korean groups haven’t been selling well in Japan, but the one exception is TVXQ.
Their dancing and vocals are strong, and their songs are excellent, so they’re likely supported by a loyal fan base.
I’m sure they’ll continue to do well in Japan going forward.

This song was also extremely popular on cable music channels throughout the year.
Its simple melody and vocals likely worked effectively as soothing music for tired modern listeners.
Regardless of sales, the fact that it’s popular as a requested track shows that the music has truly permeated listeners.
