Good morning on Friday -another story-HONEY WORKS

This is the girl’s-perspective version of “Good Morning on Friday.” I like listening to the two songs back to back—makes me think, “So they’re into each other after all!” and I can’t help but swoon while listening.
That shoujo-manga-like vibe that makes you feel like you’re reading one is something only HoneyWorks can pull off!

The version sung by the voice actor has become more famous, and this one has been overshadowed, but it’s also a masterpiece.
It tells the story of a boy who was betrayed in the past and learns to trust people again.
The cool, driving melody seems to express the fighting spirit of a boy battling against reality.

HONEY WORKS

In 2023, HoneyWorks is drawing attention as a shining new star in Korea’s J-pop scene.
Their songs invite listeners into a world of storytelling, capturing hearts with narratives that depict the sweet and bittersweet memories of youth.
The “Kokuhaku Jikkō Iinkai” (Confession Executive Committee) series, in particular, boasts a distinctive worldview that has captivated many fans.
In February 2023, they trended on major Korean social media platforms, and their popularity—especially among young people—accelerated even further.
Collaborations with various media outlets have also amplified their appeal.
HoneyWorks’ tracks, which capture the glittering moments of adolescence, are highly recommended not only for those in love but for anyone who feels nostalgic for their youth.
MomHONEY WORKS

When I listened to this song, I actually started to cry.
In a word, it’s moving.
It makes me want to say thank you to my mother.
It’s not easy to say, though (lol).
This song reminded me just how important our parents are—so much that no amount of gratitude would ever be enough.
Ai’s ScenarioHONEY WORKS

It’s not just great to listen to—the song is even better when you enjoy it with the music video! Comparing the second half with the first was really fun! I think this is a hallmark of Haniwa, but I absolutely love how the chorus just breaks through!
Sunday’s SecretHoneyWorks feat.Hatsune Miku & GUMI

Since it’s from the same series with a day-of-the-week in the title like “Friday Morning,” it’s easy to think, “Oh no, another vague, indecisive song…” but there is progress.
The tone is indeed somewhat cute and light, but I think that’s its charm.
Pissed Off feat. Kiyotake Setoguchi (CV: Nobuhiko Okamoto)HONEY WORKS

This is a character song performed by voice actor Nobuhiko Okamoto, released digitally in October 2025 by HoneyWorks, known as masters of youthful romance stories.
The protagonist reunites in high school with someone they grew distant from after failing to convey their feelings.
The story’s charm lies in the heart-fluttering development where regret over not expressing their love honestly in the past intertwines with the hope brought by a second chance.
It’s a perfect track for anyone who’s experienced unrequited love or enjoys romantic narratives.
