It was written as an original song for the “NESCAFÉ Okinawa Coffee Project” in March 2024, with its music video released the same day.

This song embraces the world of a romantic comedy set in my hometown of Okinawa, depicting the frustrating yet bittersweet feelings of youthful love.

Included on the album “TIME,” released in January 2025, it was newly written as the opening theme for the TV anime “The Girl I Like in Okinawa is So Dialect-Heavy It Hurts.” It blends an exhilarating lift that makes you want to break into kachāshī and a poignant tightness in your chest.

It’s a track that gives a gentle push to those struggling with love or about to take a new step forward.

HY “Connect the White Ball” (97th Senbatsu MBS Official Theme Song) Music Video

This song was released as a single in March 2025 and was specially written as the official MBS theme for the 97th National High School Baseball Championship.

It was also used in related programs such as “Minna no Koshien,” so many people likely remember it along with the excitement of the games.

The exhilarating sound, with brilliantly resounding brass band tones, unites not only the players battling on the field but also the cheering squads and spectators in the stands.

Released as the fourth installment of a five-month consecutive release project conducted in December 2020, this work is included on the 14th album, HANAEMI.

Based on a true story from someone Nakasone knows, it’s a love song that portrays the heartrending story of being separated without ever confessing your feelings to the one you love.

The lyrics, which try to express the distance between the two and the certainty of their feelings through numbers and symbols, really strike a chord.
