Quick and Easy! Perfect Crafts for Killing Time (11–20)
Easier than finger knitting! Straw knitting

Let’s try knitting with tools! It’s easier than finger knitting! Here are some ideas for straw knitting.
Many of you may have tried quick and easy finger knitting because it doesn’t require any preparation.
How about leveling up and challenging yourself with straw knitting this time? It’s actually smoother to knit than finger knitting, so it’s highly recommended! You’ll need items like straws, yarn, decorative pom-poms, and glue.
In the video, we make a scrunchie.
Be sure to give it a try!
Finger-knitted sacoche

Let’s try knitting a sacoche—those trendy flat crossbody bags—using just your fingers.
Since sacoches are slim and have no gusset, they seem easy to make with finger knitting.
It could be a fun project for kids who want to try knitting, and it’s also recommended for kids who’d like to try a different knitting method than usual.
If you use yarn in your favorite colors, your piece will turn out even more special.
Once it’s finished, try slinging your sacoche over your shoulder and heading out.
As you get used to the process, it’s the kind of project that would make a great gift for friends and family too.
shrink plastic

Charms made from shrink plastic are lovely too.
You’ll need shrink plastic sheets, and a keychain ring or a charm cord.
First, draw your favorite design on the shrink plastic.
Anime or manga characters are fine, too.
Cut it out with scissors.
Shrink plastic is quite hard, so ask for help if you can’t cut it yourself.
Bake the cutout in a toaster oven.
Let the baked piece cool, then thread a cord through the hole and it’s done.
If you need a hole, punch it before baking with a hole punch.
Adding a small bell or some beads could be cute as well!
A clear pouch made from a snack package

There are so many cute snack packages, aren’t there? If it feels like a waste to throw away a beautifully designed package, why not turn it into a handmade clear pouch? Just use double-sided tape to attach your favorite package—cut to size—and a zipper onto a clear card case.
Since you’ll stick the package with the front side facing inward, simply warm it with a hair dryer at the end and turn the clear case inside out to finish.
It’s a great craft for anyone who feels clumsy but still wants to make something!
Easy Long-tailed Tit

This is about making a long-tailed tit, notable for its white and soft appearance, using faux fur fabric.
The key points are how to make the most of the fabric’s softness and how rounded to make the final shape.
You’ll cut the fabric using a pattern, sew the pieces together, then stuff them with filling to create a round form.
Since you’ll combine the body and tail before adding the stuffing, it may be important to sew while keeping the final shape in mind.
It’s also interesting that the impression changes depending on how much stuffing you use.
