Musicians with that kind of style have emerged not only overseas but also here in Japan, and they’ve created important works that remain part of the Japanese music scene.
This time, we researched classic albums centered on Japanese-style blues rock and put together a selection that also includes recent works showing the influence of blues rock.

It’s great that you can hear the talk between songs and the crowd’s cheers, too.

Dummy Rock and BluesGLIM SPANKY
When it comes to GLIM SPANKY’s classic releases, the mini-album “MUSIC FREAK” comes to mind.
They’re known for blending blues and rock in their sound, and this record features a well-balanced selection of tracks that lean toward each style.
