After Shimura’s death, guitarist Yamaguchi took over as vocalist, giving the band a different kind of appeal.
RIVER10-FEET

Formed in 1997.
Since then, they have climbed to the forefront of the Japanese rock scene, overcoming years of extreme poverty along the way.
Today, their self-produced outdoor festival Kyoto Daisakusen, which began in 2008, is even called a summer tradition in Kyoto.
In name and in reality, they are a three-piece rock band that Kyoto can truly be proud of.
Their DIY spirit and the humanity ingrained in their songs are utterly one-of-a-kind, making them a trio whose very way of life you can’t help but love.
