Spitz is a band formed in 1987.
Their 1995 single “Robinson” was a huge hit, instantly propelling their name to nationwide recognition.
Since then, they have become regulars on the hit charts.
Songs like “Namida ga Kirari,” “Cherry,” and “Nagisa” all reached No.
1 or No.
2 on the charts.
Their debut release was the 1990 album Hibari no Kokoro.
The video features the song of the same title, released independently.
Suddenly, SinbadSazan Ōrusutāzu

In Japan, Southern All Stars is the band that people of all ages know and that almost everyone has sung at least once.
All the members are alumni of Aoyama Gakuin University.
The frontman, Keisuke Kuwata, has been hugely successful not only as the band’s vocalist but also in his solo work and other projects.
Despite having many hit songs, the first work they released to the world was the 1978 single “Katteni Sindbad.”
Glass BluesBUMP OF CHICKEN

BUMP OF CHICKEN is a four-piece band from Chiba Prefecture.
They broke through when their 2001 single “Tentai Kansoku” became a hit.
The band is supported by a wide range of age groups.
Their debut release was the 1999 album “FLAME VEIN,” put out on an indie label.
The video features the album track “Glass no Blues.”
Phantom LifeSEKAI NO OWARI

SEKAI NO OWARI have now become artists who can pack dome-class stages with audiences.
The frontman, Fukase, colors the Sekai no Owari sound with his distinctive worldview just as it is.
The “too-much” feeling—the sonic flood, the kaleidoscope—heard in songs like RPG, Dragon Night, and Snow Magic Fantasy wasn’t there when they first debuted as an indie band.
The single they released at that time was Phantom Life.

Porno Graffitti is a rock band consisting of two members, Akihito Okano and Haruichi Shindo.
They made their major debut in 1999 with the single “Apollo.” For a debut song, it features a highly polished sound.
The track became a far bigger hit than the record label had anticipated, and from then on they went on to release a string of hits, including “Saudade” and “Butterfly Tail.”
The Summer When You Were ThereMr.Children

Mr.Children is a four-piece band centered around Kazutoshi Sakurai and is affectionately known as “Mis-Chil.” They have had massive hits such as “CROSS ROAD,” “innocent world,” and “Tomorrow never knows,” and are considered one of Japan’s most beloved national bands.
Their debut release was the mini-album “EVERYTHING,” which came out in 1992.
The video features “Kimi ga Ita Natsu,” a track included on the album.
GO TO THE FUTURESakanakushon

Sakanaction is an alternative rock band formed in 2005.
The group consists of three men and two women.
The vocalist, Ichiro Yamaguchi, is also known for his connection with Gen Hoshino.
Their debut work is the album “GO TO THE FUTURE,” released in 2007.
The video features the track of the same name included on the album.
Even at this stage, you can already hear the distinctive, playful movement of sounds that Sakanaction is known for.
In particular, the relentless drive of the chorus delivers an impact that’s hard to believe for a debut release.
