I can’t get a Switch 2Owata P

This is a highly relatable Vocaloid song by Owata-P.
Released in May 2025, the track sets the frustration of not winning the Switch 2 lottery to a pastoral sound.
The contrast between Hatsune Miku’s cute vocals and the lyrics steeped in sadness ends up being funny.
For those who also missed out in the lottery, it’s a song that makes you want to throw an arm around a friend’s shoulder.
“You’ll definitely win next time”—it’s a humor-filled piece that makes you want to offer words of encouragement.
Close it after you open it, alien.murau
It’s a very unique Vocaloid song themed around that phrase you hear all the time in everyday life! It’s a work by murau, released in June 2025.
As murau themselves said, “I made it because I heard it too much,” the words that make you nod in recognition and all those everyday ‘relatable moments’ unfold over a bright, lighthearted sound.
With Yuki Kaai’s adorable voice singing those phrases in a comical yet cute way, it’s just the best.
If you listen to it when you’re a bit tired, its humor might give you a boost.
Pretty Panty ☆ Evil Marinyunimemo P

You wouldn’t guess it from the title, but it’s a Christmas song.
It depicts a slapstick tale of two devils and a boy who appear on Christmas night.
The fiercely beautiful, piano-forward sound is striking.
The boy, who gets teased and ends up in miserable situations, is pitiable yet irresistibly funny.
Enjoy this Christmas song with a unique twist.
crabChinozo

A surreal piece you won’t forget once you’ve heard it.
It’s a song by Vocaloid producer Chinozo, famed for the smash hit “Goodbye Sengen,” released in August 2025 as an entry in the VOCALOID Collection 2025 Summer Exhibition.
While the song tells a bittersweet story of an unrequited crush on an upperclassman, its title is “Crab.” Watching the MV set in a karaoke box will make the title make sense: instead of singing the chorus, the singer starts eating the crab that’s been brought in.
It’s a gag track brimming with humor—something we haven’t seen in Chinozo’s works until now.
In conclusion
Was there any song that made you laugh without thinking? It’s just a rumor, but people do say that “smiling is good for your health,” right? Whether that applies to everyone is another matter, but it’s safe to say that the times we smile are the times we’re having fun.
And when we’re having fun, we’re happy.
I’d be delighted if any of the songs featured in this article made you feel that way.
