[2026] Recommended Anisong for Junior High School Students: Theme Songs and Insert Songs from Popular Anime (111–120)

PlasmaYonezu Kenshi

The world of Kenshi Yonezu woven from imaginative melodies and innovative electronic sounds.

Set against the backdrop of space, this work—depicting life’s choices and fateful encounters—was released in January 2025 as the theme song for the animated film “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-.” It carries Yonezu’s signature delicate sensibility and straightforward passion, familiar from albums like “diorama” and “BOOTLEG.” Alongside its high-energy musicality, the lyrics powerfully convey the courage to step into new worlds and the drive to face the unknown, leaving a deep impression.

It’s a song I especially recommend to younger listeners who are determined to forge their own path.

BOW AND ARROWYonezu Kenshi

Released in January 2025, Kenshi Yonezu’s new song was selected as the opening theme for the TV anime Medalist.

Set in the world of figure skating, the track features lyrics that closely mirror the story of a coach who has experienced setbacks and a girl embarking on the path she admires, supporting each other as they aim higher.

Using the bow and arrow—items that rely on one another—as symbolic motifs, it deftly portrays the two of them advancing toward their dream in step.

The anecdote that Yonezu, a fan of the original manga, personally offered to create the song also shows his deep attachment to the work.

It’s sure to give you a powerful push on your back as you spread your wings toward a new goal.

innocent arroganceBiSH

BiSH, the girl group that disbanded in 2023 to much regret, performed the opening theme for the anime Heavenly Delusion, titled “innocent arrogance.” The song pairs an intense, heavy bass sound with lyrics about hope and courage.

You might feel there’s a gap between the music and the words.

It makes sense if you think of the fierce sound as expressing the anime’s dark world, while the lyrics represent the protagonist who refuses to lose hope within it.

BE MEDoul

The anime Arknights [Prelude to Dawn], which aired in the fall of 2022, featured “BE ME” as its ending theme.

It’s an original song written by the new-generation artist Doul, with a vibe reminiscent of an all-English jazz track.

Its wet, not-too-bright tone matched the series’ worldview.

The lyrics, which sing about the transience of life and happiness, also seem to reflect the anime’s story.

CASANOVA POSSEAli

It’s a groove-driven track that blends a variety of elements—rock, funk, hip-hop, and Latin.

It’s a song by the band ALI, slated for release in January 2025, and it’s been selected as the opening theme for the anime Dr.

STONE.

The song carries a message of having the courage to break free from the past and forge your future, and listening to it really sets your heart on fire.

Why not give it a listen and recharge your energy for tomorrow?

It’s a song marked by a resolute, core-strength vocal.

Released by ASCA in October 2024, it was selected as the opening theme for the TV anime “Maou-sama, Retry! R.” The lyrics, centered on strong resolve and unconditional love, strike a deep chord.

The composition is said to reflect the characters’ inner struggles and affections from the anime.

This song may stay close to your heart and give you the courage to face difficulties.

LiSA “Gurenge” -MUSiC CLiP- (Anime “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” Tanjiro Kamado: Unwavering Resolve Arc Opening Theme)
Crimson Lotus FlowerLiSA

A powerful song known as the opening theme of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

It portrays Tanjiro Kamado—a boy who lost his family and fights to protect his sister—through intense rock rhythms and melodic harmonies.

LiSA’s strong vocals vividly capture an unyielding spirit in the face of adversity, gently encouraging listeners onward.

Since its release in April 2019, it has captured many hearts and become beloved across Japan beyond the anime itself.

It’s the perfect track for moments when you’re struggling, need to rally yourself, or want the courage to keep moving forward.
