Enya, whose music is often used in movies and commercials, was someone I first listened to in middle school, and I was impressed by the grandeur of her sound.

It influenced me a lot and became the reason I started listening to many genres of Western music afterward.

I still love her songs, and they’re my soothing music when I’m in my room.

I was blown away the first time I saw their band.

I remember thinking, “I can’t believe there’s a band this cool,” and being so shocked and amazed that I was immersed in Green Day for a while.

It’s really difficult, but I love playing their songs too.

This is another song that sticks in your head after just one listen.

It was often used on TV and frequently imitated, so I saw and heard it a lot.

It’s easy enough for middle schoolers, and every time I heard her voice, it got stuck in my head and wouldn’t go away.

She’s a captivating singer.

HeroMariah Carey

This song is very slow and gently sung, so the English lyrics are easy to catch and it’s easy to sing at karaoke.

It’s a song that even middle schoolers can sing well, and the melody is so beautiful that I listened to it over and over.

It’s my favorite song among Mariah’s.

I love the Rolling Stones’ powerful sound, and after hearing them once I was hooked.

My bandmates in middle school used to listen to them a lot, and I got really into them too.

Their music is surprisingly easy to listen to, and the melodies are cool, so you can start picking them up right away.
