Life Is Good ft. DrakeFUTURE

The hit song “Life Is Good ft.
Drake,” with Future featuring Drake.
Future is the one doing the featuring—kind of confusing, right? (lol) Future and Drake are rappers at the top of the American scene, and both are known for riding the latest trap-style tracks with ease.
“Life Is Good ft.
Drake” is also crafted into a highly addictive trap tune.
I recommend it to junior high school students, but please don’t look up the Japanese translation of the lyrics (lol).
It’s pretty explicit (lol).
Despacito ft. Daddy YankeeLuis Fonsi

Luis Fonsi, a singer-songwriter from Puerto Rico who recorded the biggest hit in reggaeton history, delivered the classic “Despacito ft.
Daddy Yankee.” Released in 2019, this track differed from earlier reggaeton with its highly accessible sound, gaining worldwide popularity.
His co-star is Daddy Yankee, one of the top artists in reggaeton.
His verse is especially guaranteed to get you pumped, so don’t miss it!
FunnyZedd & Jasmine Thompson

Zedd is a music producer who has been broadening the range of EDM expression year by year.
While gaining worldwide popularity, he never rests on his laurels and constantly seeks new sounds as a world-renowned DJ.
His collaboration with UK-born young vocalist Jasmine Thompson, the acclaimed track “Funny,” was released in July 2020 and portrays a woman’s feelings for the man she broke up with.
The production, which shifts from remote-style recording to a fully developed electro sound, reflects the present moment.
If you’re a middle school student who enjoys calm electro sounds, be sure to check it out!
BoatEd Sheeran

Ed Sheeran, a singer-songwriter from the UK loved by many listeners for his catchy musical style.
I think many middle schoolers know about him too.
Among Ed Sheeran’s works, the one I especially recommend is Boat.
Content-wise, it’s a painfully heartbreaking breakup song.
For middle schoolers who’ve just gone through a breakup, I think the lyrics will be highly relatable, so definitely give it a listen.
Blinding LightsThe Weeknd

The artist known as The Weeknd hails from Canada.
He rose to prominence in the late 2010s and now ranks among the world’s leading artists, topping charts in countries around the globe.
His greatest appeal is, without a doubt, his musicality.
He’s won popularity with a contemporary sound that incorporates elements of 1980s disco and adult contemporary.
A prime example is his hit “Blinding Lights,” a masterpiece that lets you fully appreciate the musical style that defines him.
SuckerJonas Brothers

As their name suggests, the Jonas Brothers are a real-life trio of brothers who form a vocal group.
The title “Sucker” is spelled differently from the sport “soccer,” and here it means “someone who’s infatuated.” It’s a song about thinking of and being crazy about someone you love, but with lines like “Your presence is both a drug and a pain, etched into my brain like a tattoo,” it also hints that being too obsessed can be a little scary—a fervent, head-over-heels love song.
I’ve seen ur exflowerovlove

Flowerovlove is a London-born singer-songwriter.
She began making music in her teens with a DIY pop ethos and is also an in-demand model, marking her as a standout of Gen Z.
Released in February 2025, this track is a breezy slice of alt-pop.
Sweet synths and warm guitar tones create an addictive quality that sticks after just one listen.
The song portrays the jealousy and anxiety that surface when you learn about your partner’s ex—and the teen’s very real impulse to mask those feelings with a bold, self-assured front.
If you’ve ever found yourself putting on airs in love, you’ll likely relate to the protagonist’s emotions.
It’s a gem that captures a radiant yet bittersweet page of youth.
