Entrance Theme Songs of Popular K-1 Fighters Throughout the Years (1–10)
Fight for Your LifeGotthard

Andy Hug, one of the K-1 Four Kings.
Although he sadly passed away from leukemia, he kept it secret even from his family and departed at the young age of 35, remaining an active fighter until the very end.
As that episode shows, his passion for martial arts was extraordinary.
Despite his smaller physique and occasional losses to top-tier opponents like Ernesto Hoost and Peter Aerts, he used study and grit to take revenge and win in rematches.
His entrance theme, “Fight for Your Life,” is a serious track that captures his quietly burning passion for combat sports.
MisirlouDick Dale & The Del Tones

Peter Aerts is a great kickboxer whose ferocious “tyrant-worthy” fighting style has produced countless classic bouts.
As one of K-1’s most powerful and popular representatives, he made waves by showing up at the Breaking Down auditions—even though he didn’t compete.
His entrance theme is “Misirlou,” the same piece that the Black Eyed Peas have also sampled as source material.
Touchin On My3OH!3

Takeru, a great kickboxer who represents the new K-1.
In terms of punching, he’s very similar to the Filipino boxer Nonito Donaire, excelling at slipping away from punches and countering with hooks.
He also has extremely polished low kicks, and he can fight cleverly—stringing together low kicks to draw attention downstairs before landing a straight, or using that straight as a setup to drive in a knee.
His entrance song is “Touchin On My.” Back then, Takeru held the protagonist’s spot in K-1, and this track is the quintessential, straight-down-the-middle dance-pop that perfectly fits a main character.
This is kumura masashi

Masashi Kumura, a kickboxer also well-known as the boyfriend of TV star Yuuchami, competes in the new K-1’s super bantamweight division.
While he isn’t considered among the absolute top kickboxers globally, he’s a highly skilled fighter capable of holding his own even against Lumpinee champions.
His entrance theme is “This is kumura masashi.” Kumura is known as a hip-hop head, and this track is an original entrance song produced for him by the hip-hop crew FACT.
“O Fortuna” from Carmina BuranaKāru Orufu

Jerome Le Banner, the kickboxer who made a huge impact in K-1.
He wasn’t a flawless fighter, but he gave us countless memorable bouts and delivered an overwhelming impact to many viewers.
His innate fighter’s spirit—one that made your heart race no matter who he faced—was exhilarating to watch.
His entrance theme was ‘O Fortuna,’ whose despair-tinged melody perfectly suited a man famed for his almost demonic strength.
AstronomiaVicetone & Tony Igy

Mahmoud Sattari is a kickboxer who boasts top-tier skills in the cruiserweight division of the new K-1.
Until his loss to the Romanian fighter Stefan Lătescu, he had been stacking up only wins, and he’s regarded as capable of competing with the world’s best from promotions like GLORY and ONE.
Lately, he’s also been active as a YouTuber.
His entrance song is “Astronomia,” which many of you may know since it’s often used as background music on TikTok and YouTube.
Not All About The MoneyTimati & La La Land feat. Timbaland & Grooya

When it comes to the fighter who popularized the new K-1, I think everyone thinks of Takeru.
There’s no doubt that Takeru’s ability had a major impact on the new K-1, but the organization wouldn’t have grown this big without Kaito Ozawa’s influence as well.
The brawl that broke out during the press conference for their title match rapidly boosted the new K-1’s visibility.
Ozawa fully embraced the heel role, and it was incredibly cool.
His entrance theme, “Not All About The Money,” perfectly matches his heel persona with its gritty vibe.
