[Kagerou Project] A Collection of Popular Songs from the Kagerou Project Series (21–30)
Kagerou Daysjin

A Vocaloid song known for being Jin’s third work and his first to enter the Hall of Fame.
Its shocking worldview sparked countless interpretations and drew a huge response.
Musically, it enjoys immense popularity thanks to its addictive synth sound and high-velocity ensemble, and it’s also known for inspiring numerous singing and performance cover videos on video platforms, including by Yukei Rampage.
Furthermore, around the time of Jin’s major-label debut, novel and manga adaptations were announced, making it a triple-million hit that garnered attention across a wide range of media.
Imaginary Reloadjin

This track is the second song on the third album Mekakucity Reload, released in November 2018.
Described by Jin as having “the highest offensive power to date,” it features a strikingly fast-paced band ensemble that unfolds at breakneck speed.
Riding a beat peppered with slap bass and brass-like phrases, the lyrics champion a stance of laughing off everyday failures and forging ahead.
It’s an energetic rock tune that unleashes moratorium emotions wavering between reality and ideal.
Evening Scenery Yesterdayjin

Evening Yesterday was produced as the second side story of the Kagerou Project.
This work features Takane Enomoto as the protagonist and depicts her everyday life with Haruka Kokonose, the boy she has feelings for.
It’s a high-energy track with a pleasantly punchy drum sound.
While the lyrics are playful and fun, there’s a certain drama hidden beneath the surface.
Keep that in mind as you listen.
The music video, with its charmingly cute art style, is also a must-see.
Ayano’s Theory of Happinessjin

The wistful sound of the acoustic guitar and the sorrowful vocals really sink into your heart.
Released in 2013, “Ayano’s Theory of Happiness” is, as the title suggests, a song that features Ayano—who appears from episode 1 of the anime version—as the protagonist.
If you’re familiar with the Kagerou Project’s story, I think this one will especially resonate with you.
It’s a work that projects Ayano’s background quite thoroughly.
That’s also why it ends up tugging at your tear ducts…
Kisaragi Attentionjin

Among the series featuring Momo Kisaragi as the protagonist, “Kisaragi Attention” is especially highly acclaimed.
It’s a track included on the first album, Mekakucity Days.
The song portrays Momo Kisaragi, who is on the verge of losing her confidence as an idol, regaining it with the support of those around her.
Its dramatic lyrics make it easy to empathize as you listen.
It’s also recommended to enjoy it together with other songs in the series—you’ll be able to feel the worldbuilding even more deeply.
Additional Memoryjin

A poignant yet intense rock number told from the perspective of Ayano, the girl at the heart of the story.
Included as the lead track on the album “Mekakucity Reload,” this piece became the long-awaited “additional memory” for fans.
The lyrics, capturing the feelings at the moment of throwing oneself into the sky and the unspoken thoughts for someone dear, tighten the chest.
Another draw is the dramatic development where a driving band sound intertwines with piano melodies.
Immerse yourself deeply in the lingering afterglow of the series.
Lost Wordjin

A Vocaloid number by Jin, released in December 2017 as his 22nd work.
The band sound, featuring piano and strings, stirs the listener’s emotions.
Many will likely be moved by the lyrics, which depict a protagonist who struggles to put their feelings into words yet begins to step toward the future through an encounter with someone important.
It’s a song that blends gentleness and strength, one we especially recommend to those who have something they want to say to family, friends, or a loved one but can’t quite find the courage.
