Lovely music

A signature song produced by Seiji Kameda. A “shofuku” masterpiece that brings smiles.

Seiji Kameda, a bassist Japan is proud of.

He’s been hugely successful as both a composer and a producer, so trusted that Ringo Sheena even calls him her “master,” and he has created numerous hit songs.

With his frequent Twitter motto of “shoufuku” (bringing smiles and happiness), he continues to deliver music that’s uplifting and resonates with the heart.

Even if you don’t know him by name, many of you have probably seen his face on TV and elsewhere.

Chances are you’ve heard music produced by Seiji Kameda somewhere.

Be sure to check him out.

Hanemonosupittsu

I listen to Spitz when I’m in the mood to be wrapped in kindness.

This song reminds me of Calpis, so for me it naturally became a summer song.

Its gentleness and freshness are soothing.

When it comes to delicate vocals, I think Spitz is by far the best.

Ken Hirai - ELEGY (Elegy) (Ken’s Bar Winter 2009)
ElegyHirai Ken

As the title includes “Elegy,” it truly is a melancholic ballad.

You can tell it’s a yandere song where the person ends up hurting themselves.

Ken Hirai’s uniquely gentle, soft vocals make it all the more heartrending to listen to.

In conclusion

Of course he’s worked with big-name artists, but even with familiar songs you hear all the time, you might have had that “Wait, this was produced by Seiji Kameda?!” moment of discovery.

I certainly found lots of surprises while researching this time.

The music Kameda creates seems to be wrapped in a warm atmosphere that everyone can share.

I realized I want to keep listening to that kind of “bringing smiles” music from now on!
