Kankaku Piero’s iconic and popular songs
Kankaku Piero is a DIY band that doesn’t belong to any label or agency and even handles their own recording.
Their songs, which have the vibe of classic guitar rock, are highly memorable, but some tracks are full of humor as well.
Cool, funny, and danceable—this is the secret to their popularity.

Kankaku Piero’s signature and popular songs (31–40)
CheshireKankaku Pierrot
It’s included on the 2017 mini-album “To-scale Unbalance.” This is a song that gives you the courage to move toward your goals.
The drum roll building up to the chorus feels great, and just listening to it gets you pumped up.
To hell with normies!Kankaku Pierrot
This is another song characterized by Gakushiki Pierrot’s signature guitar-riff-driven style.
It’s a very tricky track, so I wouldn’t recommend it to someone listening to Gakushiki Pierrot for the first time.
The quirks are quite strong; if you can handle this song, you can probably call yourself a pretty serious Gakushiki Pierrot fan.
Nana-hikari Hero (A Hero Riding on Another’s Fame)Kankaku Pierrot
In particular, this is a song I’d especially recommend to anyone working hard in their club activities right now.
It’s included on the second mini-album “Impossibility to Possibility,” released in 2016.
The finely chopped beat is striking.
It’s the kind of track you want to listen to before a game you absolutely have to win.
Ghost in the mansionKankaku Pierrot
This song, steeped in a dark atmosphere, serves as the final piece in the series “A Declaration of War from I to J.” The contrast between the simple riff and the effect-like, highly processed tones from the two guitars is sure to be enjoyable even for non-guitarists.
You who sleep in the aquariumKankaku Pierrot
Shifting from the tender, acoustic opening to a waltz-time band sound that heightens the sense of longing, this song stirs deep emotions.
It’s a work wrapped in loneliness, evoking the feeling of being confronted with memories of someone.

This is a track from the first full album “Iroiro Hitoiro,” with a melody rhythm that sticks with you.
According to vocalist Yokoyama, he added the melody after the rhythm section’s orchestration was completed, so the song really showcases his melodic sense.
Guitarist Akiyama said, “If this song weren’t on the album, I feel like the album would probably have a somewhat different vibe,” highlighting its strong presence.
Why don’t you try touching it?Kankaku Pierrot
The song from the limited-production CD that was distributed at live shows has been re-included on the first full album, “Shikisai Hitoiro.” This track was created when Akizuki, the guitarist, was told by vocalist Yokoyama to “just try making something,” saying, “Why don’t you give it a shot?” Yokoyama, the vocalist, commented, “If we listen to it in ten years, I think it will feel like a song that symbolizes 2018.”
