This is a 2004 party rap by nobodyknows+ that sparked a renewed boom thanks to THE FIRST TAKE in 2022.

The way the five MCs trade verses in a mic relay while clashing their unique personalities is guaranteed to get the crowd hyped if you recreate it at karaoke! In THE FIRST TAKE, even when a member slipped up a little, many viewers were moved by how they laughed it off and supported each other—such a strong, fulfilling relationship.

With the Latin-style backing that anyone can groove to, be sure to enjoy the instrumental break with some call-and-response!

FAKE LANDFAKE TYPE.

FAKE LANDFAKE TYPE.

A super distinctive rap that depicts a theme park where madness and pleasure swirl! If you can pull it off at karaoke, you’ll feel like the true ruler of entertainment.

It’s a 2021 release.

“FAKE LAND” is a song one of my students used to sing, and I was impressed, thinking, “Wow, their diction is so quick!” It really prioritizes rhythm and accent! It’s not pure rap—there are song-like parts too—so even if you’re not confident with rap, I think you can enjoy singing it all the way through.

Of course, I memorized it while teaching lessons as well, so listening repeatedly and singing along is key! If the fast lyrics make it hard to catch the words, I recommend slowing the playback speed on YouTube.

Cho FastGOSHI

The blend of laid-back vibes and coolness is irresistible.

You can dive deep into its fast-paced sound and the urban, thrilling lyrical world.

Popular rapper Hannya’s “Super Bad feat.

J-REXXX & R-Shitei” was released on August 9, 2023.

It’s a track that satirizes childish behavior in adults and is packed with Hannya’s unique worldview.

Mixing in some provocative expressions, it strikingly exposes the contradictions of modern society.

With its edgy beat and catchy hook, it’ll get you hyped.

It’s perfect for singing together and getting the party going when you’re hanging out with friends.

Even adults feel like cutting loose sometimes—when you do, belt it out and let off some steam!

FAKE STYLEFAKE TYPE.

A signature song that could be called the origin of FAKE TYPE., where electroswing collides with ultra-fast rap! If you can nail it at karaoke, you’ll definitely earn the title of Tongue-Twister Monster! There’s no official tie-in, but it went viral on YouTube and Nico Nico Douga, boosting its popularity.

It fuses retro and modern elements, creating a unique world where a swing-jazz-style track is layered with ultra-speed rap and humor.

When singing, you’ll be tested on breath control for the nonstop fast rap, enunciation, sense of rhythm, and lyric memorization.

It’s packed with an enormous number of words, so focus on accents to keep your mouth moving smoothly!

Suisei Hoshimachi’s “Bibideba” became a hot topic on YouTube in 2024 as an “insanely difficult rap” and a “top-tier challenge” song—have you heard of it? Some of my students actually tried it, and when I taught it, I felt that on a first pass it’s quite hard and the melody is tough to anticipate.

Beyond rhythm and pitch, it includes rapid-fire sections and rap parts—there are lots of elements packed in.

If you can master it, it’s a super fun and satisfying song to sing! In the chorus, many phrase endings switch to head voice, so lift your facial muscles and keep centering your pitch between the eyebrows, imagining the sound traveling from the brow up through the head as you transition to head voice.

Raising your hand toward your head while singing can make the visualization easier and help the voice come out more freely.

For the word-heavy sections, don’t try to articulate every syllable crisply; instead, let the words flow so they ride the melody as you sing.

Lupin the FireSEAMO

SEAMO’s “Lupin the Fire” is a catchy track filled with love for the anime Lupin the Third.

Released in 2006, it reached No.

9 on the Oricon charts.

From the instantly recognizable intro that gets you hyped, it blends inventive sampling with melodious rap.

The lyrics cleverly express the adventurous spirit and camaraderie of Lupin and his crew, as well as admiration for Fujiko.

It’s the perfect song when you want everyone to get fired up together!
