Cape Canaveraltonbo

This work captivates with a sound where electronica and R&B intersect.
It’s a track by Tonbo from March 2017, with lyrics by f and vocals by ONE.
The composition is superb: it unfolds from a restrained first verse into a wistful pre-chorus, then surges with emotion in the chorus.
The lyrics use space and rockets as motifs, poignantly depicting the regret and distance of a love that, once set in motion, can’t turn back.
It’s a perfect song for introspective moods.
A future drawn with an eraserNei.

An emotional rock number with a rush of momentum that pierces the heart.
Created by Vocaloid producer Nei., with the music video releasing in September 2025.
It expresses anxiety about an uncertain future that seems to be drawn and erased, and yet a wish that refuses to abandon hope.
The crisp sound packed with catchy guitar riffs and the twin-vocal synergy of Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto are incredible! It’s a song that blows away those frustrating feelings!
CAREFREElo-key design

Lo-key design is an R&B/soul unit consisting of singer salto and a trackmaker.
They formed after the trackmaker was moved by salto’s voice during their college years.
Their debut EP DESIGN, released in October 2019, shot straight to No.
1 on iTunes’ Japan R&B/Soul album chart.
Centered on R&B and neo-soul, their mellow grooves are pleasantly smooth, with hints of hip-hop and city pop that define their sound.
Their track PERFECT BLUE was selected for a J-WAVE program, and their monthly listeners on Spotify tripled within a few months, steadily growing their fanbase.
If you’re looking for sophisticated, chilled-out music, you’ll definitely get hooked.
KentuckyJenīhai

This piece, included on the album “Jenny Classic,” whose tracks began early digital release in June 2023, is another song that showcases their unique style.
It portrays the emotions of a couple in the doldrums of a relationship, resulting in a languid yet heartrending mood.
The band sound deftly conveys the frustrating feelings of searching for a chance to mend the relationship.
It’s a perfect track for those who want to explore the realistic side of romance or take their time with a song that tells a story.
knot; tie; bind; concludeSaucy Dog

A song by Saucy Dog that vividly captures the restless, fidgety feelings from a male perspective and the slightly awkward atmosphere of a new relationship.
It was released in March 2020 and included on the mini-album “Take Me,” which came out in September of the same year.
The anxiety and jealousy born from being mutually in love—and therefore not wanting to lose the other person—tighten your chest, especially when mixed with the exhilaration of summer.
Yet the song also expresses deep affection for a partner who accepts that clumsiness, along with a warm resolve to build a future together, which makes your heart feel at ease as you listen.
If you play it on a summer evening spent together, you’ll surely be reminded of how precious you are to each other.
CASE 143Stray Kids

Stray Kids is a boys’ group that’s rapidly gaining momentum.
In Japan, they’re affectionately known as “Sukizu” and loved by many female fans.
Among their songs, the one I especially recommend for its singability and crowd-pleasing energy is CASE 143, released in 2022.
While the overall vocal range is quite wide—low G# to high F#—the low notes appear in the rap parts and the high notes only show up in the final chorus, so the basic range isn’t that broad.
The high notes also come after clear rests, so you can prepare and hit them comfortably.
If you’re still unsure, you can sing the high parts an octave lower.

The Path Where Beasts TreadShiina Ringo, Miyamoto Hiroji

It’s a song where you can hear the cry of a solitary soul, like a beast forging its own path.
The vocals are by Ringo Sheena, with her one-of-a-kind worldview, and Hiroji Miyamoto of Elephant Kashimashi.
Their distinct personalities clash like sparks yet meld in harmony—truly nothing short of breathtaking.
The track portrays the struggle between instinct and reason faced by those fighting within society, and a fierce resolve to move toward dawn.
Released in October 2018 as the theme for NTV’s “news zero” and later included on the landmark album Sandokushi, this is a song you’ll want to play when you’re determined to charge down the path you believe in.
